Constant runny nose even when I'm on opiates

What gives! Its literally got the point where i never have a clear nose its so annoying I have to wipe it just before I go in a shop, I dont have hayfever or any allergies so it ain't that although I have been without promethazine for a few weeks which I think is very addictive for someone like me but I can't afford that at the moment.

I know a runny nose is a classic symptom of opiate withdrawal but I'm not in withdrawal I'm high most of the time it happens, also going outside in the cold seems to make it much much worse.

I guess my question is.. Is this normal will it go away?I

Ive never had a stuffy nose for so long in my life!

Opioids can release histamine via a mechanism we still don't fully understand yet iirc, this can lead to allergy symptoms such as a runny nose. You could try an antihistamine like loratadine/desloratadine, cetirizine etc.
