Social Concentrates or Flower?

In fact, that's what pretty much happened to me first (few) times I smoked so to correct myself smoking proper concentrates for the first time was like again getting high as possible, even more than ever with weed, same thing happened with synthetic cannabinoids but depending on which one, it was far more intense and had far bigger spectrum of effects than cannabis. About a month I was smoking cannabinoids almost constantly, some had most indica like effect, some most uplifting effect ever, hell some even caused psychedelic rush and whatever effects were it was easy to get alarmingly high even though tolerance was rising alarmingly high too. By the end of the month, after running out of about 10 different cannabinoids I experienced horrible wd’s, very short but horrible and surprisingly was able to get high of a regular cannabis very soon after that, same as before that experience. I never thought I could enjoy synthetic cannabinoids that much but I was daily user of cannabis for many, many years, smoking and eating big amounts of it and what I thought will be lifelong stash, and more of collectible turned into irresistible need to be stoned as ever all the time. Some of those cannabinoids even had some medical potential and real research behind and honestly I wouldn’t mind to have small amounts of them again, for a few days of fun but I don’t think even analogues of their analogues are available now. On the other hand I discovered that after long enough tolerance break even high CBG, very low THC strain works almost as good as 90% THC back in the day, at least medically and in some combos.

Ever since I discovered concentrates I've been for those over smoking flower. It's just so much more effective, I don't have to spend so much time smoking, and I don't have a persistent cough from smoking a bong. A few dabs a day replaces smoking multiple grams of flower.

I also enjoy eating FECO oil (aka "Rick Simpson Oil," oil extracted with food-grade alcohol and decarboxylated so it's ready to eat, as opposed to being made for dabbing).

...

The lower bio-availability and longer delays don't always seem a suitable trade-off, depending on a desired application, that of a "medical" patient for example. But most of the consumers population ain't necessarily sick, not in legal environments where "recreative" use is allowed too. And that alone should lift a red flag because that's a trap, the perfect crime of the century... M'well, there's no such thing as a "medical" firearm, as i keep pointing out, if i may say so. Etc., the point being cannabis is just getting *VILIFIED* by politi¢$ and indu$trialization; the Bloc Pot may import news from France and fantasize on violence-driven « ¢aïd$ » terrorizing urbanized areas, but i live in Québec and a rural part of it where TV news talk about Wax Pen for kids in schools, though in quite some puzzling fashion they don't talk of the 18-21 group which got legally turned into vulnerable minors, on top of confiscating parental authority just this summer... In short "it depends".

IMHO freeze-dessicated trichome glands sold as "kief" would prove effective enough plus providing a unique form of filtration as a bonus, so to speak, that is actually determined by genetics on the molecular level. THC and CBD being only a start. No need for other packaging, i'm sure i'd like that in my pipe, and its "quaticized" nature would spontaneously invite precision « micro-dosing » features potentially capable of convincing even perhaps a part of the anti-cannabis voters. This solution comes with compatibility with self-awareness rituals where opportunities are multiplied to forget dosing any further while also respecting a user's own preference to party, like an adult. Otherwise no substitute consumption method can win simultaneous support from both sides of society, cities included but not only. And some day, once we transformed a world of adults, we may find out that killed the market for rolling paper and e-¢ig$ altogether, in exchange for respect that was reciprocally honnest and genuinely shared. Attrition will do fine, don't rush it like politi¢ian$ targetting smokers by printing horror pictures on their expen$ive produ¢t$... So, no traps please, no tricks treating people like herds of over-billed/over-taxed $heep$ participating to a mass-experiment at their very own expense.

The FCTC/COP6 will turn 10 years old next year, i wouldn't be so gullible to think the bigot victorian-age prohibitionni$t politi¢ian$ will forget and the thing is that was some crapy report emanating from a session closed to civil observers and reporters, held away from mediatic attention in Moscow, in Russia, yano?...

And Poutine hates "marihuana", hence that's reason enough to want to contribute to a proper response to his non-sensical global challenge! I call friendly nations of the civilized democratic world (~20%...) to defeat this nuclear-freak di¢tator by driving an emerging industry in ways that might very well happen to solve a few riddles which escape politi¢al mind$ so far:

#1) « Wax Pen » in under-age environments including schools
#2) Health-wise inhalation as a precision micro-dosing alternative
#3) Anything i may forget besides quality-certification by mother Nature (TRUST)

What else than Providence aided by nature can honnest men desire to trust?!

Ah, and on the long/durable term there's no need to even risk socio-toxic interaction with a minor while also obeying this simple cardinal rule: leave kids alone!

Good day, have fun!! ☮️

Just got an oz of concentrates for $220 so I think Im gonna have to go with that for a little bit here, I find the high to be a little less 'fucked up' but my lungs are so much better off

Honestly these days concentrate. I don't know the comparison lung wise, but it feels like hardly nothing/vapor compared to smoking a joint or something. I'd smoke both if I had easy access to both in a legal state, but where I'm at I can't smoke inside because of the smell, but I can smoke shatter/concentrates because it hardly leaves any smell, and thats a giant plus. And you usually need 1-2 hits as opposed to smoking an entire bowl. Usually if you have good stuff 1 hit will get you a good high for a while, and anything more if you wanna straight baked sesh, so its just too damn convenient. So I'll always love straight kush but concentrates seem better in every way possible. Also the amount of space and portability. Okay now that I'm writing about it, concentrates win by a mile.

Always been a flower guy because that's most easily available.

I mainly do edibles. Although I do love a good smoke and/or dab. I'm so blazed right now off that shit for real.

I tried some trans-dermal application one time as well as rectal. Shit's crazy. Butt I'll stick to the edibles with occasional smoke/vape.

Is the THC oil in a weed vape the same thing as dabs?
Essentially yes, many times it's distillate which is more commonly found in carts or syringes. Syringes can be used to dab distillate and sometimes people make carts with other forms of concentrate as well such as live resin

Thank you, I was curious about it. One time I had a pre roll that had kush, gusher, and AK-47, coated with Jungle Cake oil and then the pre roll was rolled around in kief. It knocked me out cold.

Concentrate infused in edibles. I haven't smoked or vapes in 3 years. I just take a few drops of tincture under my tongue. No fuss no smell, and 45 minutes later I'm playing GTA laughing my ass off.

Delta8, regular thc9, CBD, whatever it is I have it in super concerned liquid formula.
Forget coughing

I like flower more but i'm old and been smoking it since the 90's so it's more the habit of rolling one. Sometimes i use a vape for the flower but i'm trying to quit cig's so kinda replacing a cig with a joint.
I get a different high on concentrates and i really don't get it. Isn't thc thc?

THC = THC, yes.

What I'm struggling with is how there are so many more psychoactives in cannabis than just THC.

Certain combinations can have very specific effects, with the caveat being that they'll likely effect your best friend at least A LITTLE BIT differently than they effect you.
Half the time I feel like I'm at a casino when I cop a new strain because that shit's always a gamble. I love weed, but I might not like THAT weed, you know?

And then when you start diving down the terpene rabbithole things get super confusing upon your first exposure to nomen clature and the varying effects of almost identically-spelled terpenes.

Weed's an easy habit to jump into, but when you want to start tailoring your highs specifically for you.... well fuck, man, there's just a lot of reading and experimentation to do.

I agree with you about experiencing different highs from flower versus concentrates/extracts.

I always thought that was weird because, in my mind, I would think "there's no way the weed I'm getting is even 30%THC but this cart I just picked up says 92.4%! I'm 'bout to get so high off a single hit!"

The catch being that it's not just THC that gets you high.
