Well ive been on it for pretty much 6 months but ive never done more than 2mgs a day and now im tapering down from that. Im doing .5 mg every other day at this point and haven't felt much beside a few hot flashes and sweating. I see some people do huge amounts a day like 16 mgs and come off of it. My question is with the low amount ive been doing for awhile will the WDS even get that bad. I also haven't done any in the last 48 hours and feel little bit of anxiety, but that's about it.

It's difficult to tell you how bad your wd's are going to be, I would only be speculating if I were to guess.. I will say this though, try to get down to .250-.125mg, and then start skipping multiple doses before attempting to jump to 0.

Buprenorphine's half-life is very long, this is significant for two reasons, 1 it explains why you're not feeling too badly after 48 hours of no use, and 2 it makes the wd's last much longer than short acting opioids, albeit less intense.
