Cleaning my vape

I'm using the atman hashmate to vape my hash and the gauze gets covered in residue. How best to clean it?

Is it detachable? If so just rinse it in a few drops of acetone on a mirror, let the acetone evaporate, scrape up the residue with a razor blade then smoke. I always clean my pipes and grinders using this method.

No, unfortunately I dont think it is detachable

I use rubbing alcohol the same way Fubar uses acetone. Not sure which is cleaner, but I find it very efficient. Make sure it's 91% or higher though, or else there's too much water for it to clean or adsorb well.

Acetone dissolves most plastics, which include polyester clothes and anything else you might accidentally splash it on, even if your vaporizer is resistant to it. Rubbing alcohol is much safer and works at least as well.
