Heroin Chronic use causes build up of substance?

Let's assume just for this thread that the half life of morphine is 3 hours. If I understand correctly, that means that in 15 hours after using heroin (ie 5 half lives) the body has completely cleaned the drug.

However, is that still the case if you use chronically daily? I have been using almost daily for half a year. If I dont use for 15 hours, will my body be completely clean of opioids?

Or because I have been using for so long, there is now a build up of the substance and needs a longer time to clean? Is there any estimate for how long?

I do not care about drug tests, I only care after how much time I can safely use normal benzo dosages so that I can sleep peacefully.

Thanks every body as always
