Hi everyone,
since the beginning of memory formation in my brain I feel the same sensation of being constantly physically ''stuck'', in the sense that I cannot gain flexibility, often experiance cramps and spasms and spine pain that follow nerves up to hands and feet. Thats the skeleto-muscular symptomes, but they are not alone no no no !

Neural symptomes are FAR worst, Chronic headache, global pain whenever I recieve a sensory input (mostly 4 senses, touch, sound, taste and light sensitivity) the only spared sense is smell but I think it is due to oversized bones in the nasal tract along with nasal deviation (diagnosed but the surgery was pushed until I was 18 and now I am 19...). Inability to sleep without a medical help, If I do not sleep I get symptoms (disorientation, confusion, etc) just not fatigue or ability to fall asleep.

I also have random swelling at various part of my body without reason, along with pain linked to non-structural organic problems or simply too complex problem to be understood. I also hear, see and feel sensory input ALOT more intense than median of the population as an imposition not advantage since I cannot control it.

So the main reason for this post is, to find out if there is some1 else is having the same accumulation of problems, AND to see if there is a solution on earth, now and in clinical trials, if not then I know where I am headead in term of scholarship! For now I am only patching discomfort which impairs my productivity, I wanna bypass that.

Thanks for taking time to read and have a nice day !

Honestly I feel the over sensitive issues and inability to bear pain. I was diagnosed Aspergers years ago, which was removed and merged into the autism spectrum. The rest may be deconditioning, but I can't say without looking at you and I'm no doctor.... Sadly what I found works best are the opiates while most meds lead to cognative impairment pushing me to the point of suicidal ideation, intent, and attempts. With all of the conflict no doctor will script it and if anything goes wrong in one's life the opiates are the first and end all answer to be blamed. That's life

Thats what I was affraid of, it is mabe the only thing in our world that make me feel this way.

BUT I wanna study specific areas of chemistry and biology to create a non-addictive pain med based on Cannabis and General natural psychedelic effect that I would merge into one compound (without reality distortion obviously). I just dont know what will be the cost of heading toward that goal (not talking bout money here)... If I find a drug that act exactly as I plan I will make sure that most profits will be directed to researches and a program to help people pay for treatement they need.

It is time Pharma co stop sucking money and start doing their job, helping people.!!!

Life can be changed, but some1 has to step up and do it !

The basic research is already there. Its going to take legislation to kill big pharma's control and advance pain management technology

Even using psilocin and LSD and others, while discarting their hallucinogen effect? I know about cannabis but this... and the combo of both too, I dont think so.

What I think psychedelic does is allow you to decide (as long as you have will, desire and ressources) what happens in your body. So it wouldnt be a pain killer but a pain ignorer.

Exactly. They're schedule 1 drugs which means they supposedly have no medicinal value. Legislation would make them accesible for further study. Their has been some recent research on medicinally using psychadelics, but it's much more difficult to do basic research and virtually impossible to get FDA approval for schedule 1 substances.

Not trying to discourage you from pursuing that career path. But if your drive is to provide people accessible pharmaceuticals with much better long term efficacy than opioids, legislation is a much stronger roadblock than a lack of research.

People can be funny. I agree that medical cannabis would help, Lyrica/pregabalin is a wonder drug for some and worthless for others. I personally think Lyrica/pregabalin is great. At the correct dosage, that stuff will numb you up. I know, what works for me, may not work for you. At the minimum, it's a great add on medicine.

I mostly want to achieve this for me but I found that it would be a good way to help others too... But you are right I need a politician with me. (I am really bad at it). But I am only 19 and like 10 years away from entering my interested field so politics have time to change. I hope...

Do not take High dose of Lyrica for a long time because to my experiance it can cause serious serotonin and noradrenaline problems but I gotta agree, that for people with med-low nerve pain its a good add on. But to me its only relieving If I take enough to get the NA and Serotonin effect which I dislike and that is why stopped it.

600mg a day of Lyrica/preabin or less should be safe and effective, if you use it at all.

That is like saying a drug does the same thing to every1. What makes the effect is the present sate of the body interacting with the effect of the drug, so its a proportion problem, If my pain is too selective and the medicine not I need bigger doses to satisfy but get more side effects.

You would always have a chance to pursue politics after spending time in the field anyways. Good luck!

Could you elaborate on the swelling you are experiencing, where you are experiencing it and whether for example you have any oedema in your legs? You should be able to press with your finger onto your shin bone and if your skin stays pressed in and causes 'pitting' it'll take a little time for the divot you pushed in to return to normal. Does this happen to you?

Nah like I get alot of problems that end by a diagnosis of something -itis , epididymitis, carotiditis. I think its an underlying issue or simply bad luck cuz I got like 5 of those in 3 years. And my epididymitis has became chronic . Nerve sensitivity makes it even worst !

^My apologies for not reading the thread more thoroughly but Speedking spoke of pregabalin or Lyrica, I have found that many people with nerve pain especially down the legs get great results. If you have sciatica then forget about medicine cos nothing will cut through that pain, it certainly doesn't for me. And yet I take 600mgs per day of Lyrica which I just haven't bothered to WD from - I've got too much on my plate atm to bother going through whatever WD there may be with the shit.

The thing about my pain is that it seems to be linked to inflammatory and nerve over reaction to small things. So there is never any clear diagnosis on anything. I also seem to be unable to get rid of important inflammatory problems and specialists do not care because it doesnt make me less productive... It is only chronic pain nearly everywhere in my body and SPECIALLY in the most tender area of a male's body! Well thats how they see it.

And about Lyrica, I suggest that if you really wanna quit quit the most quickly possible, the longer you take it the longer the WD. AND THEY ARE NOT FUN, at least I had cannabis...

Mracid...I too have inflammatory issues, in my abdomen and in my joints. I am boarding the CannaBUS today, in hopes of finding either some pain relief OR relief from the despair of decades-long CP.

I am trying Cannatonic for inflammation(?) and Durban Poison for energy/mood lift(?) I ordered concentrate for drops under the tongue. I took 2/3 dropper an hour ago. I don't feel anything, yet.

Have you found MMJ to be helpful OR just a way to cope with pain?

Both but in my case after 3 years of daily use the effect lowered and so are my economies, plus I was self medicating so never as accurate, I now have to stop for a carotidis or carotidynia IDK and am locked on using only edibles, which works but increase the only side effect I ever had, amplification of my Attention disorder (I am the opposite kind that cannabis helps).
So I am kinda ambivalant on its daily use in MY case, but if relief is the ONLY thing you are looking for then MMJ is GREAT for temporary relief.
