Chloral Hydrate? Any opinions?

Is this why they took it off the market in the states?

that, toxicity and SUPER narrow window of effect/death - IE the dose needed for anesthesia etc is on a very steep curve where the actual intoxication dose is not far from what might kill you. overall there are just MUCH better options, hence it falling out of use.

My mate had alphachloralose. Pest control. Wouldnt let me eat it. Dunno if he still has it
