I'm wondering why the cardio vascular stress induced by stimulants, like amphetamines, doesn't do the same thing to your heart as exercise. I.e. the stress from stimulants is bad for your heart/health but the stress from exercise is good for your heart. What's going on here? Why doesn't all cardio stress make the heart stronger?
Is it because the stress is caused by Norepinephrine and adrenaline? And the stress from exercise is caused by other factors?
