Cannabis

initially the THC in cannabis temporarily increases one's heart rate for the amount of time it takes for the CBD to take over and counteract the stimulating effects of THC.

this happens regardless of ROA. eating tends to raise the HR for a longer period of time i've noticed..

why would that be? would eating not mean less carbon monoxide from burning and not increase your heart rate as much

THC increases heart rate...

perhaps not as much but i haven't noticed much of a difference personally.

If there's one thing cannabis has ever done to me, it's make my heart pound when I've gone too far with it hahahah

Generally I enjoy the effect of my blood pumping faster though, because I have poor circulation and my fingers/toes actually stay warm when I get stoned.
