What is seratonin syndrome, its symptoms, causes, ways to avoid it etc. I have checked other pages and found many references to ser. syn. but not a real deffinition. Some scary things have happened lately when rolling...I think some probs were from dxm tabs but violent shakes are something I've never seen
before. Always trying to roll safe...SMAN

Too much serotonin causing nausea, diarrhea, confusion, headaches, dizziness, general malaise. In severe and highly unprobable cases death.
Metabolism =
Serotonin Produced -> Serotonin works -> Serotonin Stopped from working
If an agent that increases serotonin production is combined with an agent that decreases the ways through which serotonin is stopped from working, excess serotonin will be at work. Agents like MDMA increase serotonin production. Agents like monoamine oxidase inhibitors decrease the amount of serotonin neutralized. Combining them = bad.
