Harm Reduction Can I use GABA-A to push the Benzoes (on Escitalopram) ?Serotonin-Syndrom? Pls help

Hi all,

I'm not sure because I hear such a lot of different meanings... Can I use GABA A with VitB to push Benzoes or on the other hands side to be more calm and relaxed and even sleep much better? Somebody said no, because It could produce a Serotonin-Syndrome. What are your experiences, is it okay or a real no-go?

I have 200 veg. Capsules with each 500 mg GABA A and 2 mg Vitamin-B-6. i have to take Escitalopram , an SSRI, and Amphetaminsulfat.Wanted to now if its okay or not.

OH sorrry this was German :) I want to try GABA A with 2mg Vitamin-B-6. Im taking Escitalopram 20 mg/d in the morning, 22,5 mg Amphetaminsulfat daily, Nomexor 2,5 mg and 100 mg Seroquel at night when I really cannot sleep.

Can anybody pls tell me if this would be OK? I fear a Serotonine Syndrome!

22mg escitalopram
22.5mg amphetamine sulphate
2.5mg Nomexor
100mg seroquel

is that correct? How much of that is NOT prescribed by a dr?
 
Do not ever use escitalopram and seroquel together! Very dangerous in regards to your heart. It’s a major interaction between those drugs so do not mix them.
 
I had Cocaine since in the morning
5 mg Bromazolam
20 mg Escitalopram
2,5 mg Nomexor
100 mg Seroquel (just for sleeping.

That't it. or can you perhaps tell me which drugs I shoud never take when on GABA A?

My doctor is one of 3 or 4 specialists in ADHD in adults in Austria, he will know what he do. And he knows that I mostly smoke a joint instead of taking the Seroquel. Never had problems since 8 years.
 
Escitalopram in the morning ,Seroquel against half past ten in the evening. That's in these low doses no problem.
 
Serotonin syndrom from GABA and vitamin B6? I don't think so...
You're taking a much bigger risking by mixing your medication with cocaine (amphetamine, escitalopram and seroquel).

That being said I don't think gaba supplements would do anything for you, it's barely active anyway and you have a pretty high benzo tolerance.
Supplementing with B vitamins can be a good idea, I sometimes take that, but it's not psychoactive at all and it won't potentiate your benzos.
 
But could you pls answer me about the Serotonin-Syndrome that I want to avoid?

All I’m saying is do not mix the seroquel and Escitalopram. It’s flagging up as a major drug interaction and he shouldn’t prescribe the two together. But up to you, just know that it is a risk.

You’re more at risk of serotonin syndrome with mixing the amphet, cocaine, seroquel etc. Not a good combination.

It is a good supplement from BIOGENA and is is on the package 2 mg B6.

I understand but in this case it's like drinking chamomile tea to potentiate IV midazolam. What's the point?

Edit: have you tried melatonin for sleep?
 
I want to try it like you also wanted for sure try anything else at a time.

Yes of course I have! i tried literally everything. But: My insomnia last about 30 years! I hate it!!!This is PURE TORTURE.
