can a silicone bong be put in the dishwasher?

What are your thoughts on silicone bongs and pipes? I was just wondering are they safe? Could silicone paraphernalia emit any toxic fumes when exposed to a lighter? Thanks in advance.

I was wondering the same.
Just started "vaping" and some pen-parts are silicone or like material. Maybe that is why I cannot take the vapors... maybe it is burnt rubber causing the harshness.
Watching for any answers.

Nah, silicone is a very chemically resistant and thermally stable compound. it does become less (stretchy/returny) and more brittle as temperatures increase- it won’t start decomposing until exposure at very high temperatures and for prolonged times.

But then, low quality cart materials and crsppy vitamin—e acetate, etc. Also, vapor is very dry and can/does cause throat irritation. This below fits on top of a 510 threaded cartridge. And there are many more kinds
