Bupe Patches & Oxy

Hi all

I'm on prescribed 20mcg Bupe patches but have also been given some 20mg Oxy's. To "enjoy" the Oxy's I presume I need to ditch the patches, can I just rip them off and take Oxy or do I need to leave a certain period of time?
