Bluelight edd mix album 2006

Just out of curiosity, what did everyone take from the last EDD mix cd's?

I got really into Herbie Hancock and My Bloody Valentine as a result. So thank you whoever that was for broadening my music my musical horizons!

I am so tempted to upload a bit of happy hardcore but fear I may be shot. I have got two other non 'rave' tracks which I am toying with as well .

we've reached 30 tracks, and that's more than enough to make 2 cd's!

what would you all say if I were to make an online streamable/downloadable mp3 mix with no length constraints
or
are people still pretty keen on shoehorning it onto silver discs?
 
Andy, I don't mind either way. The mix(es) will just end up on my MP3 player any road.

I'd say there is no need to make it fit into under 74 minutes per mix (although it does encourage tighter mixing ;-) but i liked the way there were 2 separate mixes with their own feel last time, so stick to that format i think.

Sorry to be the one who dissents....

....but yeah, I like the discs.

My decent sound system doesn't hook up to my digital world, so CD's are the only way for me. Meh... I guess I could just listen to it through my laptop... but then I wouldn't be experiencing your mixing genius to it's full potential through full surround sound. :D
 
^Or split it onto two cds afterwards if you want to?

Havng it as a long, continuous mix offers a bit more scope for arranging the tunes better. nd it can always be split into parts for cd burning later..
