Bicycles!

Hey Keneckie, that bike you posted is interesting looking. It is like nothing I have ever seen before. What do you call it? What does the manufacture list its possible uses as? Where are the bikes for sale at?

looks nice junctional. I have a Specialized Stump Jumper, its pretty nice. 2 years old. A while back I would ride my bike ALL THE TIME at night, no thanks to amphetamines, whew. I was probably partially mad but it was all good.

I went through so many lighting set-ups. ha

peace.
seedless

I commute on the silver 07 version of that stumpjumper, but added a thudbuster post and slick tires. I have a Stumpjumper fsr pro for trail riding. Saving for a Nomad these days:)

Bumping thread cause we recently discussed creating a bike one.
ATM I have a very cheaply made but pretty bike that I bought on ebay for maybe 120 bucks? Something like that.
Will come back with a picture, a story and maybe a video of a ride among other useless content. :p
Anyone with a pic or two and a story?
Bike Porn is Born!!!!

I remember the days (maybe 7 or 8 ) any piece of plywood was a treasure if found cause it was automatic ramp. We had ramps all over the neighborhood and parents would get us sturdy bikes cause ee were rough on em. If memory serves well Huffy was the gold standard for off road. I know they have come a long way with BMX and whatnot but back then you was some body if you had a Huffy (stolen or not haha).
This age was about when I feirst smoke weed. Think I told this story before but the one with the strawberry papers and the dude from Taco Cid... the weed has provided so much comfort since then.
Peace to Strawberry Cid Dude where he may be.

Oh hell to the yes!

In the early 70s I was a prepubescent/adolescent who, like all my male friends, thought Evel Knievel was way fucking cool. So we imitated him on our bikes, of course. No broken bones that I can recall, but a LOT of bruisy & bloody mishaps on homemade ramps. Evel would probably be "canceled" these days for being such a dangerous influence on kids.
But damn, we had fun.

And yeah, I remember the strawberry rolling papers...I think they were called E-Z WIDERS.

E-Z WIDERS
I do remember these but Cid made it a point of saying J and B papers. Not job. J and B. lol I was trippin and trippin that I remember this.

This I didnt think of but it was definitive the culture. EK was the reason for the ramps... the inspiration. And stretch armstrong. Playing cards in the spokes of your rims. All kinda stuff coming back. Not all good 😁 but most of my memories from then brings smiles. Guess that is someting.
I also remember this age may have been my first theft of a vehicle. Outright took a scooter off of someones porch and somehow got that thing riding. lol Took it on the same trails and dirt/mud tracks we had for bikes. Had to clean the mud out of the front tire/rim often cause it was a friction deal so....
Oh, but if you had a mortorized dirt bike. Ooooohhhhbhhhhh, shit! 😅
Those had to have been the "good old days" if there ever were any. Yeah... thats what they mean I think.

I remember the diamond that separated the initials. They are the same today I think. Bought some a while back and iirc it was there. Back when I could afford good flower.
J*diamond/period*B were the normal for us as kids. Part of the culture. And budweiser beer when we could get it. Preferrably the long neck bottles.
These times were a little more "troubled" and removed from those good old days.
@Arnold
Wasnt it posted about a bike thread? I cannot remember where it was posted so I may be mistaken.
Its nice to think back but it seems that the here and now is always demanding I return to the stress and madness. lol

I doubt it, the only bikes I would post about are motorbikes in London and not been on one of them for yonks.

I do have a peddle power bike but that's just for getting about no cycle terrorist with tight lycra pants to be spotted here at this address or someone full 'o mud like you've been sprayed by a farmer with manure. (mountain biker)

Y'all wanna start a thread about bicycles, electric/motorized bikes, and such?
My bad for calling anyone out. Wasnt intentional.
But ya made me work for it.:p
Man I keep forgetting the video. I do have a body cam but is notorious for destroying sd cards. things can get exspensive (the cards)

Top tips for anyone riding a bicycle:

Take yer fuckin earbuds out.

Get off your fuckin phone.

Put your hands on the fuckin handlebars.

Stop jumping red lights.

Don't wear lycra because it makes you look a cunt.

Learn some sense of self preservation.

Stop blaming other road users for your lack of road sense.

Stop being a prick.
