They're all good if your dosage is good. They are all horrible if you take too much.

Golden Teachers I think are great for novices. They are moderate in potency and for me they give more of a body, mental, and emotional high. They are great for teaching you things that need to be changed in your life. For me at 7 grams they made me confront my traumas and my addiction issues, it was a humbling experience, it's like it took my ego and made me feel so much smaller, which was probably a good thing. It was rough but that was a 7 gram dose, which I don't recommend.

idk bout strains of cubies, but i feel as though panaeolus cinctulus or panaeolina would be best for beginners. cubensis are rough around the edges, ime.
