Sorry about the lengthy post, just really confused and looking for answers...

So my friend Emma was clubbing the other night and her and a friend had smoked a large amount of weed during the afternoon and early hours of the night and then when they went out they had dropped a few mdma caps which they had taken on other occasions so they knew what they were like. As the effects were wearing off, they went searching for more stuff, unfortunately in the smokers area of a club, and they were offered mdma caps. They each bought one and they decided to rail them. When preparing to rail them they noticed that it wasn't like the normal stuff they take, it was not crystally at all, it was very white and powdery. Within 5 minutes, they were dancing but they did not feel normal at all and Emma started hallucinating and could hear warping noises and when she looked at her friend it was like her friend was morphing and she was seeing double vision and then started turning into an animal, she could feel her heart and knew she wasn't okay so they decided to leave because Emma was beginning to freak out. They got in a taxi to go home and Emma was convinced she was in an ambulance and dying and said the taxi window was down and it felt like the taxi was driving through the city at 200km an hour and thought she was being rushed to hospital, she could hear sirens and began crying and she was seeing people looking at her like she was dying. Once they arrived home they managed to get themselves inside and layed on the bed and tried to relax and calm Emma down because she was in a living hell. Once Emma was no longer convinced she was dying and was a little bit more relaxed, she was convinced that her friend was now going through the bad trip that she went through and that it was Emma's duty and mission to figure out how to save her friend. Emma was now convinced her friend was dying and that she had been given a chance to save her and so everything that her friend was sayimg Emma took as 'hints' or thought they were symbolic with some sort of underlying hidden message about how to save her. For example, her friend said something about how much she trusts her older sister so Emma was convinced that in order to save her friend she had to call her friends older sister because that was the answer. It was like a guessing game, constantly trying to figure out what the answer to the mission was. On the bright side, by calling her friends sister and talking to her about what was happening, they figured out that they must have been given LSD or something similar. They and myself are not very familiar with hallucinogenics and the types they come in. After talking to her friends sister, Emma calmed down again and was able to enjoy the rest of the trip by talking smack and laughing with her friend. She found the trip so bittersweet going from a living hell where she was convinced that she was dying or her friend was dying and trying to figure out a hidden message to save her friends life then to laughing constantly and being happy and having nice hallucinations involving flowers and colours. Emma had been keen on trying acid for a long time but obviously it would have been helpful to know that she had taken it that night rather than thinking she was having a heart attack or something caused by mdma. Emma has no history of mental health disorders apart from a bit of anxiety and self esteem issues. She smokes weed regularly. Before going out she had had a bad day and was going out to cheer herself up so she already wasn't in a positive mindset. She is wondering if she should avoid LSD or hallucinogenics in the future in case of another bad trip or do you think it was just the bad circumstances that lead to her bad trip? Considering they were in an unknown environment, were given a drug they didn't want and were already in bad mindsets? Also, does it sound like they were given LSD?

You snorted an unknown powder no one can possibly tell you what you took. Next time get a test kit. Your next story might involve dead friends or a dead you.

This doesn't sound like LSD or MDMA, it's impossible to tell what you took, but possibly some kind of psychedelic RC. Being thrown into a strong trip when you were expecting a different drug is a rough deal, especially if you're inexperienced & on another drug already, plus you have no idea what you took or how much, it was likely those circumstances that lead to a bad trip. Try to avoid taking untested pills/powders/capsules/etc from people you don't know.

Thanks for the replies. I know how stupid it was and I won't be putting myself in that situation again.

hello there, welcome to blue light. As others have pointed out we can't possibly identify what this is and attempting to do so would be foolish. Please check our rules before posting again.
