Bad dates/hookups

Where do I find these people who send random strangers online heaps of money? ;)

Really though, it's a pleasant surprise when a guy even buys me a drink :( haha...80,000 bucks would be nice, though.

I'd like to hear from more female bluelighters. It seems men make the worst dates.

The worst dates I have had have just been awkward/disappointing.

After breaking up with my last girlfriend I went through a period of low self-esteem and depression and tried my hand at online dating through okcupid. if anyone has tried it you will know that quality (at least in terms of women is few and far between). I went on a date with one girl who looked cute on her pictures and we seemed to have a bit in common and have some rapport whilst talking online. When it came to meeting up she was about 15kg heavier than her pictures. I was disappointed but I still gave the date my best shot because I thought we might click. Nope. didn't really have any rapport in real life.

i went on a date with another girl from okcupid. Almost the exact situation. When I saw her waiting for me she had clearly put on alot weight and I wasn't attracted to her. I almost turned around and walked away, but I thought that would be really rude so I met up with her. I tried my hardest to make conversation with her, but I could never get any detailed answers out of her. She seemed really shy or awkward. Longest hour of my life. I told her that I had to go meet friends soon and wished her a good night.

I went home and never logged onto that site again. It really is shit. Since then I have stuck to dating through the traditional methods. Online dating takes away the important things like knowing if you are attracted to someone and 'first impressions'. I have since realised how important both of thee are.

My worst was probably a triple date my friends and i went on to teppanyaki restaurant, i took a German exchange student. In fact I always have bad experiences with Germans - i know they're kinky and love sex but something disastrous always happens! On the first occasion when the cook was throwing food I ended up with raw egg all over me. Needless to say i didn't get shagged that night.

And taking girls back to your parents house, especially when they are away and you EXPECT them not to come home in the middle of shagging on the couch in the main lounge room, when you lose the keys to your apartment is not recommended.

I always thought that I got lucky as a teen with my mum never catching me wanking in my heady days of masturbation. It seems my luck has run out when it came to sex though.

Right before my girlfriend at the time was to go back to the US for 6 months she stayed at my mum and sisters place for a few weeks to meet the family. After finishing I went downstairs to have a cigarette. I noticed that my mother, a friend of hers, my sister, my sister's boyfriend, my sister's friend were all sitting in the lounge room. They all just looked at me and laughed. Very embarrassing and my girlfriend and I felt to embarrassed to see the rest of the family for the whole day.

I also have a story where my mum caught me whacking it over skype with a vietnamese girl who I had a fling with whilst in Vietnam. My mum just barged in to tell me pizza was ready. For the next few days my mum laughed at me whenever she saw me.

No we heard the front door open but had to hold our clothes over the front of our naked selves, and make a dash for my room while my parents were trying to work out what was going on...a bit like that Mr Bean episode when he gets locked out of his room naked:

And yeah my parents found it pretty funny, especially the next morning. I know I heard them say "OH hello what are you doing...." but stopped in mid-sentence when they saw us dash down stairs. I would be so embarrassed to be caught by my parents like that, luckily it hasn't ever happened to me and touch wood (may as well say pun intended ;)) it never will!

Haha I dunno, there's surely cringe worthy stories on both sides. I know I've been a bad date/hookup on the rare occasion ;). One time that springs to mind was during my meth head days, and after meeting a guy out clubbing, took him back to my house. I was high and wanted someone to talk shit too. By the time it finally dawned on him I wasn't hooking up with him he'd put up with hours upon hours of me puffing and talking crap. I also made him pretend to be my boyfriend through a meeting with my real estate agents at my house. By the time he left he was pretty shitty, and warned me that I was lucky he didn't just take what he wanted from me. It was stupid of me to lead someone on like that, and it was a reminder that shit like that isn't cool.

He told me he had a girlfriend too, and that he'd really pissed off all his friends by going home with me. So not only did he have to put up with a druggie talking shit for hours, he risked his r/ship and made his mates shitty and didn't even get a root out of it.

When Ms Jacobs left for South African to meet with "Jesse" on November 22, 2012, it wasnt the first time she had travelled to see him, but this time they were to be married.

She wanted to settle in Nigeria, although her children had begged her to stay in WA.

Had 2 that spring to mind . . . both met on MSN when I was like 16 . . . nice girls but they were really really really really not too attractive, but the thing is they didnt even put in the effort. At least I did my hair . . But the last hook up I had was 9 years ago and ended up marrying her :)
