Hi everyone basically I head a fairly heavy roll roughly 6 weeks ago and felt a horrible sensation in my chest the following morning... tight painful sensation, fast heart rate, difficulty breathing etc... have since had myself checked out been seen by a doctor multiple times had ecgs, blood tests and a chest x ray done everything has checked out fine but I still have a dull ache in my chest thats there all the time 6 weeks on although it is a lot better than before but is still affecting me day to day.
Guess i'm looking for some reassurance here, has anybody else experienced something similar and if so is it something that eventually subsides or am I gonna be like this for some time?!
One things for sure iv'e definitely learned my lesson won't be rolling again anytime soon!

Depending on what substance you actually consumed -- and how much, and the genetic code for your HTR2B gene (which encodes the 5HT2B receptor) you may just have overly sensitive serotonin receptors in your heart.

Fenfluramine and many MDXX substances agonize (stimulate, activate) the 5HT2B Serotonin receptor (that heart push, and in the case of fenfluramine heart valve disease)

A SINGLE night of large dosing would likely not cause cardiac fibrosis, however, it could have hypersensitized the receptors in your heart. So any time you release serotonin those receptors activate (slightly) and its that push -- only much less.
