Baclofen withdrawl

A friend has been taking 20mg Baclofen for 6 months now and has ran out of meds. He seems to be going through some bad withdrawals and is curious if Gabapentin would help at all with the withdrawal symptoms? Any response is greatly appreciated! thanks!

I would indeed expect some withdrawal. That's a small dose so it shouldn't be unmanageable, though. And yes, gabapentin should help. It helped me stop phenibut, and phenibut and baclofen are almost the same drug.
