Baclofen....does anyone know what this is?

What do you think is a good dose of baclofen for a mild anxyolytic, euphoric effect?

Get a new Dr. I was at a point where I could barely function due to anxiety and panic attacks. My dr looks at Benzodiazepines for somebody with anxiety/panic disorders as insulin for a diabetic. He is a specialist in treating panic disorder patients and he is also a published author on the subject. I moved here went to a dr and had a hard time getting a dr to re prescribe my xanax he called me a junkie and wanted me to quit cold turkey.. luckily I found the dr I have now.

The first dr who gave me my xanax I basically told him I did not want to be medicated on anti depressants. That I wanted something that would be in and out of my system and to take as needed. He gave me as much Xanax as I felt I needed. I was always completely honest with him about how much I was taking and he was fine with it. Then I moved here and am now seeing the specialist. My advice is to find a new dr and soon.

My doctor has had me on a high dose of neurontin for some time, but it does NOTHING for my anxiety. I beg him to put me on a benzodiazepine, but he refuses. My life is unmanageable with my anxiety/panic. He just wrote me a script for Baclofen, and says it might help. I can't find much information on this stuff at all. Does anyone knows anything about Baclofen?! Its supposedly a GABA-B agonist.

Hi , I'm a neuropsych meself, doesn't mean I don enjoy pot, or never tried heroin , but I now mostly enjoy pharma cocktails:D lets talk of baclofen
Try Baclofen if u wanna feel good , its a GABA-B selective agonist - that'll relax muscle spasms due to injury, but gaba-b agonism DISINHIBITS AND SLOWLY SPEEDS UP DOPAMINERGIC transmission in pleasure centres of the brain. also seroternergic neurotransmission speeds up via indirect action on 5HT1A receptors and a happy relaxed state arises the higher u dose. BUT PLEASE DON GO ABOVE 75-100 mg and that's all this doctor can remember from the fat books I read long ago. A VERY DOPAMINERGIC COMBO IS MODAFNIL(200-300mg) + BACLOFEN(25-75mg) another is BACLOFEN(25-50mg)+MEMANTINE(10-20mg)+PRAMIPEXOLE(1-3mg) or a cocktail of RITALIN/BUPROPION(300-450mg) + EFFEXOR (150-225mg )+ BACLOFEN (50mg)IF U WANNA BLUES TRY PREGABALIN (900-1200mg) +VALIUM(20mg)+BACLOFEN(25-50mg)+XANAX1mg - take a shower, watch TV, chill out -BTW for u'r anxiety try escitalopram (lexapro 10)for 21 days though within 3 days u'll feel it, or paxil cr 25 these 2 SSRI act very fast, as does remeron start from a low dose or Desyrel from 25mg at bedtime-if u can get any of these from friends or anyone and give them atleast 21 days trial I'm sure u won't need a benzo,(though if u had come to me I would have started on Xanax 1mg or Klonopin 0.5mg) u can sedate with a tricyclic like Elavil 25

SWIM is on 12 mg's of suboxone daily and was prescribed one hundred and twenty 10 mg baclofen. The first two times SWIM took around 70mg's but didn't really know what to think about it, just felt weird and out of it and very clumsy and tired the next day. SWIM waited about a week to try this again because of all the positive and recreational effects SWIM's read about, and this time felt absolutely amazing. Very euphoric and SWIM has never tried GHB but could imagine it's very similar. SWIM had alot of energy and was very motivated. Also would doze off randomly and then randomly would have bursts of euphoric energy.. Absolutely had no anxiety and SWIM would think it's like a mix of Valium and GHB. Definitely euphoric and really looking forward to doing again. SWIM has also noticed that a dose of 60 mg's works perfect everytime and no tolerance has set in. This is also my very first post on bluelight so I apogize if this carried on too much or if I broke any bluelight rules.

I don know who's SWIM, I had myself in dr bob's psychobabble- u can't unsubscribe- it's a scam, anywho SWIM seems a fictitious character with all the doses mentioned or he'll have to be in a mental home for a few a yrs if he wants to live.recreation is good, i do it, even if u do it everyday , if it's a sensible cocktail.Suboxone cancels any opiod joy from baclofen, then GHB binds to GABA-A site which first will obviously will extremely euphoric if u can remember first time u took a benzo .Valium is again mainly a GABA-A agonist , if u need 60mg soon u'll need 120 , what's the supply its raining valium?I don wan't to quarrel goto a doc, or ask online for cocktails from docs like me, I don mind if someone is on methadone.

I would like to warn you, please do not take doses of more than 200mg, and please do not mix with alcohol.
It's actually dangerous.
Pretty not bad mixed with marijuana or small doses of DXM (500mg)

PS In my opinion Phenibut is better for the mixing, because it has fewer side effects.

Baclofen is a muscle relaxer, I've had it given to me before for muscle pain, and honestly it never even helped with pain nor did it give me any other sensations.

As Baclofen is similar to Penibut, it will not be that recreationally, though is relaxing and uplifts mood. I use Phenibut to Potentiate Poppy Tea. Have Baclofen on order, and will try that with Poppy Tea when it arrives.

Phenibut often causes nausea or stomach issues (particularly the 6 to 24 hours after dosage) does this apply to Baclofen?

Uhh, no; baclofen has no direct activity at mu-opioid receptors (or ANY opioid receptors for that matter).. its main action is as a GABA-B agonist.

HAA! ..I was thinking exactly the same thing in regards to psychihelp. Apparently his "med schooling" didn't include grammar lessons? Doesn't even know the difference between GABA sub receptors & apparently thinks baclofen has opioidergic activity? So if he actually is a doc.. one, I pray to god (even though i'm an atheist) i never have him; and two, he should demand a tuition-refund from whatever shit school he supposedly went to.
