SWIM has had this happen and SWIM is getting irritated of waste all this ash and cigs. SWIM has cooked lots and was wondering would freebase help this problem and is it the cut SWIM can’t get out with soda, if so what is it? If SWIM can keep it as rocks that’s much preferred over free base

We don't use SWIM here, just write normally, it won't protect you from anything anyway.
Ash does not burn, so it must be the crack that's burning.
Are you sure you are not flaming it too much?
Have you tried using a glass pipe and steel or copper scourer?

Yeah the ash lights up and does like a burnt popcorn looking curl and taste horrid. I absolutely hate Brillo I get rings from ghetto blasters

Exactly, ash just does not burn.
It must be soaking up something flammable that's in the rocks.
