I was prescribed a 20ct. of hydrocodone-acetaminophen after an impacted wisdom tooth removal. Pain was not too bad, but it was an excuse to feel good for a few days 8). I was lucky to even get prescribed an opiate, many oral surgeons are avoiding prescription painkillers such as vicodin. I used it wisely while I could, but that withdrawal was awful.
