Any info on writing a drug patent?

Or, better yet, anyone know (or are) someone with connections at a good pharmaceutical company looking for new ideas?
 
Just to clarify this a bit are we talking about a new chemical entity, some sort of herbal thing, or a repackaging of other already known drugs?

It's definitely not an NCE. It's an alkaloid that is currently not used at all.
