I'm just curious to everyone's experience with methamphetamine and how long it could take to completely detox from.

I thought I would experiment for a weekend first time and six month’s later was shooting up 1 g a day and mad as a meat axe. Recovery took 2 years before I properly felt happiness again. Another 2 years after that I thought I had a grip and could use it recreationally - two 3-days binges later I’ve already lost friends and work contracts / opportunities.

On the plus side I had some killer orgasms when high (balanced out by lack of sex-drive afterwards)

Can’t see any upside to meth for anyone with real world ambitions.

Ya I can't get high from smoking it because I'm forced to take antipsychotic injection(court ordered part of my probation)
But I can still snort it and get high.
My experience with meth is good. I'm 29 and have been using for 4 months now. I'm addicted to having big crystals in my container but not addicting to using it if you know what I mean. I more enjoy just having it on me just in case I really want to use it. I can go 4 or 5 days without using. The most I ever went was a month . But once my probation over I have plans to either enlist in Army National Guard (I was wrongly diagnosed psychosis and my recruiter told me all I need is a doctor's note). But I also want to join the Ukrainian military because I heard they are accepting foreignors now. So I plan on quitting meth once my summery probation is over so I can pursue my goals to become a soldier.
Meth also made me quit smoking weed, I used to be addicted to weed but after snorting meth for the first time I laughed at the fact I was spending money on such a boring weak drug . There was a month that I spent $500 bucks on weed . Such a waste of money. I only spend 30-$40 bucks a month on meth I only buy dime sacks once a week and my dealer hooks me up with nice decent sized crystals.
I swear that sometimes he gives me way more then I need he is such a bad ass I love my dealer.
I like snorting a 4-6 fat lines once every 5 days or so.
I can sometimes eat on meth only if it's pizza or Chinese food :) but dry foods like sandwiches or cheeseburgers don't seem to be good for me on meth...too much dryness. Eating bread does not feel right when I'm on meth.
I like looking at images on my computer of naked women that have a nice round big ass I don't like to jack off on meth but I like to look at porno pics and use my imagination. I can look up these type of images for hours on meth and only feel saticfied once I downloaded the 200th image for my porno pics collection.
Also I like to put some meth powder I crushed into a cup of water and drink it. It gives me a satisfying body high that makes laying down on my bed feel like a fun hobby.
I like snorting pure ice type of meth 70% pure and feeling the drip then popping out a cigarette to smoke. Feels so dam good to smoke a cigarette after snorting some high grade meth.
I like the burn in my nose because it confirms my shit is real and bomb.
I like laying down and thinking of sexual fantasies that are very kinky like incest taboo..like fucking my Aunts big nice round ass she gots.
I can think about that for hours on meth.
One of my friends told me I should be in the porn industry because my addiction to sexual fantasies while on meth Lol 😂
My experience with meth is more like a wine consumer of rich tasting wine.
I like certain kinds of meth like the type called glass, see through shit that gives you a 24 hour high.
Very good shit.
I like also enjoy some good cut meth that has some speed in it. That makes high as fuck mixing speed cut with meth. But it also led me to a paranoid panic attack that led me to flushing down pure glass down my toilet because I thought my friends dog in the hallway was a cop sniffing dog lol I thought that because earlier someone next door called the cops because her car got broken into , so I somehow was so paranoid I connected the dots and thought cops were coming for me instead.
But when I'm not paranoid a line of speed goes good with some pure meth lines afterwards. Very smooth alert high can do algebra in my head (could never do algebra period when sober unless I use pencil and paper).
Meth for me has opened new possibilities I'm no longer afraid to approach women at bars.
I'm no longer embarrassed of my past and learned to enjoy the present and look forward to the near future.
I feel meth for me is simply not a addiction like weed used to be for me . Meth is more of a drug for those who can kick back and chill in their bed comfortably numb and be mature about it and enjoy the high through the night. I never like to party with too many people while on meth altho once in a blue moon I can go to bar after doing a line. I seem to find staying at home and chilling on my computer more fun while on meth and racking up fat lines on my desk late at night.

My conclusion is meth really isn't a hardcore street drug as the media depicts it to be.
Meth is more a classical stimulant that has many purposes.
It can be used to make Waffen SS soldiers blitz Poland in 1939.
Or it can be used to study algebra.
Or it can be used to make the simple things in life more fun then they really are :)

That's my current meth experience.

Everyone should be entitled to put whatever they want in their bodies and I don't cast judgement on anyone. But to think that you can casually do meth on a daily basis and not have any consequences? If you bring meth and heroin into your regular using life you're bound to lose something.

Even people who are lighter users and use 2-3 times a week end up feeling some sort of lethargy/brain fog and depression after cessation. For a good majority of folks meth is not something you can dabble in like adderall or cocaine. It's too potent. You'll be crossing state boundaries to get it, self-rationalizing, etc.

Anyway have fun be safe everyone.

The only time I'm depressed is when my friends don't want to go score for me if I give them the money :/
I enjoy having thick fat crystals in my metal MLB container . Meth to me doesn't cost that much dude.. I can spend $10 bucks on it and it will last me the whole week because I really just enjoy collecting crystals so I can use them when I get bored out of my mind.
I havnt lost anything on meth. Shit there was one time I was short 2 dollar's and only had 8 bucks on me so my connect just told me if I had a extra lighter on me , and I gave him 8 bucks plus a bic lighter . And he hooked me up fat. When I was addicted to weed I lost more shit and sold more of my personal belongings to score weed. I once traded in my Bass guitar that cost $850 bucks and sold it to a pawn shop for $150 just to get an ounce of weed. I was selling my soul way more to weed then on meth. Thank God I choose to start using meth because of meth I kicked my weed habit.
Weed for me was an evil dumb addiction that was costing me $390 bucks a month buying 2 grams of Afghan Kush a day which was $35 bucks a day spent on weed so at times I was spending over $460-500 dollar's a month on weed. Weed ruined my bank account. I only spend $30 dollar's a month on meth. So to me I'm saving more money while getting a much better longer high.

Interesting.

I would say though that things are about to get a lot worse. But I don't know you and I'm intruding lol

In time, you might return to this post and laugh at it. I've heard the argument that "meth doesn't cost me anything" before. Famous last words before he destroyed his entire future. It's not about the financial cost at all. I remember when I thought opiates improved my life. At a certain point, I really think they did. However opiates are not neurotoxic. I have done them a thousand plus times but I've never once had to worry about them taking something away from me that I'll never get back. You'll see.

METH GIVES YOU BRAINS LOL

Well it does make you think really fast :geek:

It's just concerning the amount of threads that have been about methamphetamine use lately. I'm not a DARE officier or anything, but the drug in particular has more side effects than heroin (physically) and it should be mentioned how many people can't control their use long term. At least with heroin you can recover and walk away with your brain in tact as it actually recovers close to 100%. Meth use takes a little bit out of you each time you do it. You're on borrowed time with your health not to mention staying awake for days at a time on its own is damaging in its own right. I don't know what the goal of this post is because meth users aren't concerned about any of this and that's the scariest part. Just to state that it's neurotoxic as fuck and people aren't acknoledging it. If you do know that and still use it daily then more power to you I guess. Anyone who has done meth over the course of over and year will tell you better than I can what will happen to you--and none of them have anything good to say about it. If you use it to be more productive then do you really need methamphetamine over pharmaceutical stimulants? It's too fucking strong.

I'd be interested to know if high purity meth has less negative impacts on your health. Some people talk about the highest quality of meth not having any comedown at all.

Smoking meth all the time and shooting meth gives you psychosis over time but snorting it won't effect you .
I never smoke that shit it's too damaging on the brain. I don't know why people smoke it..
Shooting it just once can lead to psychosis.
I do it orally or snort it. I like to put some in my water and drink then feel comfortably numb like pink floyd. I save my crystals and hoard them for worship.unnamed-2_11-1.jpg

There are 70 years old homeless Mexicans in California who do meth and slang that shit . I don't know any 70 years old on heroin. Because everyone on heroin dies at age 30-40

It’s been 4 1/2 years since I used, but I remember the cycle like it was yesterday.

After 1 week recovery, I would think I was back to normal. After 2 weeks, I felt even better. After weeks 3 and 4 it was hard to notice the positive increase from sobriety, but they were definitely there.

So personally I say 2 weeks, but up to a month before successfully connecting your dopamine receptors back to everyday tasks and accomplishments.

I hate to break the news to you, but heroin and other opiates are very much neurotoxic lol.
To say that they're flat-out not, seems shortsighted. Any illicitly manufactured drugs, lacking any real uniformity in production, that are used as frequently as your typical addict does, are going to cause some synaptic degradation. Opiates might be easier on you physically as far as cell damage, (comparing volume per volume) but i've come across so many more H addicts that have overdosed, been clinically dead, homeless, or just had lasting emotional issues after quitting.
Point being its no better than meth.

Actually came across this a while back too lol

I'm always open to arguments and such but I have to disagree on this. Opiates are definitely not neurotoxic. Do they have a reputation of destroying lives potentially more than ANY other substance in existence? For sure. And do they cause an obscene amount of deaths and overdoses? Definitely.

But the weird part of the curse is that if you walk away you brain will recover (eventually). The only long term damage is that in heavier heroin use the organs begin to fail over tiime or if you are not dosed with narcan soon enough during an overdose you could succumb to some brain damage from the lack of oxygen. Otherwise, your hormone levels and brain areas that shrink during uses are temporary and go back to normal with time. I'm tired of meth users downplaying the effects of their DOC like it's LSD or weed. I've seen people ruin their entire futures and be locked into addiction for decades when it comes to opiates and remain unable to escape--but I've seen two seasoned addicts completely deterioriate mentally from heavy amphetamine use and NEVER get their stable thought back. People who do heroin don't get locked into permanent states of psychosis from heavy use or be prone to severe paranoia. I'm stating more prominent examples of methamphetamine abuse but in 10 years from meth use you will have a less benign opinion in my opinion.

You've got a limited amount of times that you can do meth before it takes something you won't be able to recover. I don't think that meth is as bad as the media has made it out to be or the breaking bad show but it is definitely not a mild harmless substance. We know it to be neurotoxic because of how it causes dopamine to burst from the receptors all at once. It's also horrible for your teeth and lungs but this can be mitigated a little bit depending on smoking habits.

I kind of want more users to post in this thread with experience on meth beyond 5 years and see what they have to say about it personally. Not because I think that I'm right--I just really want to gather more opinions on the substance in longer term use.

Meth is a stimulant .
No one gets the euphoric rush if they use everyday so IDK why people choose to abuse it . I sometimes abuse it if I want to binge and stay up at night.
If someone is snorting meth everyday they can still function. Even if you snort a high dose everyday you won't feel much . You will just be more alert and you will feel stimulated, and going on internet forums while stimulated is fun as fuck .
It's like I found a new hobby.
But the fucked up thing I will admit is if you want to get the Euphoric rush back you need to wait 4-7 days without using. I think it's hard for some people to do that because the stimulating effects are so addictive once you realize going on the internet becomes fun while stimulated it makes you want to do meth every night so you can type in forums all night long. I snorted a line 2 hours ago and I'm stimulated right now . I feel like when it come to masterbaiting I can imagine stuff more better in my mind while being stimulated I can use my imagination for auditory fantasies ( imagining what my sexy ass curvy aunt sounds like in bed while I'm fucking her tight pussy ) when on meth the fantasies sound so real in my head . Hearing her moan and say fuck me harder!.
:)
Now I know why so many porn stars use meth . Meth stimulation helped my erectile dysfunction . I'm on SSRI so the side effects is erectile dysfunction :(

Meth is a drug that feels so good to score.
I like the feeling I get when I send a friend out to go score for me and I give him a $10 dollar bill and then I wait patiently . Then 20-30 minutes later I hear a knock on my door and it's my friend and he has my dime and I give him a couple pebbles for scoring for me 😇

ya it takes 7 days without using to get a decent amount of dopamine back so you can feel the happy joyful euphoric feeling.
If you use everyday you just get stimulated.
