from this article, regarding apigenin; https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-10-compound-cognitive-deficits-mouse-syndrome.html
and there is follow up i didnt see; https://medicalxpress.com/news/2015-12-compound-spices-herbs-brain.html

i wish to see actual study article so we can understand how reliable it actually is. no scientist has interest in apigenin though, so im sure they dont it for financial interests. i know most studies done on polyphenols are indeed in vitro. but since i believe in the brain-gut axis connection, perhaps apigenin can act through such manner.

Apigenin can also be an enjoyable, if mild relaxant. I believe it is one of the active constituents of the surprisingly effective Salvia Nemorosa...

salvia nemorosa?? never heard of that one before. interesting, as i might check this out

here; https://www.nutraingredients-usa.co...-linking-flavonoids-gut-microbiota-and-health

so about 10% of absorbed polyphenols are in the small intestine, not large intestine! most if not all undergo enzymatic reactions by bacteria in the large intestine which yields something completely different then the originate, which is hardly detectable original source, hence therefore, why polyphenols are considered unreliable with very low bioavailability compounds.

ill keep updating this as science unravel more and more. as i was pretty certain 10 years ago when everyone on the internets kept telling me this; "Ohh polyphenols are useless and crap, forget em" BUT, I kept going forward, looking around thinking and wondering, discovering more and more realizing i had a reliable HINTCH. AND btw hintch is a GUT FEELING, which i have been relying on for a long time WHICH interestingly enough is very connected with what im talking about here!!!
