Heroin Anitpsychotics, and H?

I'm currently prescribed clozapine, and abilfy. I've read conflicting reports as far as if safe to mix with H. Is it as dangerous, as mixing h with a benzo? Thanks.

Clozapine does not depress breathing (at least not significantly). Your risk of overdose is probably unchanged.

Would be no where near as dangerous as mixing h and a benzo.

Antipsychotics can make you sleepy, h makes you sleepy. That?s the only reason I can think someone would say not to mix them.

dont take it at the same time or it wrecks the high.
should just be normal dangers of taking H

Actually opioids and neuroleptics (especially haloperidol and levopromazine iirc) have been used together for coanalgesia and sedation. There's even a Cochrane review: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/23990266/
I don't think that respiratory depression is a big risk in normal dosages, but it'll most likely increase sedation.
