my dad recently just got a new ADHD medicine (amphetamine salts 20mg caps) and i took 1 a few days ago and loved the effects. i don't have ADHD so i took it recreationally, but anyways i had a lot of energy and had to chew gum all day cause i kept having to chew something/ grind my teeth (which i don't usually do)

the next two days my jaw has been so sore so i'm wondering if anyone else had experienced this or is it just me

no worries my friend, jaw clenching and pain afterwards is a basic and most standard trademark of amphetamine use, so welcome to the club my friend

Yeah, bruxing is one of the more common complaints of stimulant users, especially amphetamines--substituted or otherwise. Less so with moderate doses of methylphenidate or diethylpropion (both drug in itself and the more active metabolite of bupropion). Ditto on cocaine too. Bruxing + attendant dry mouth of sympathomimetics = bad dental outcome, be careful.
