Hi all! I am looking for any information or advise regarding Adderall and brain chemistry. I am currently prescribed 20 mg a day but I raise and lower this as needed. I usually take 10-15mg a day but sometimes, if I am studying something, I will increase this greatly for a couple of days. I have found that, on large doses of Adderall, short term memories have a tougher time becoming long term. Basically, I can cram a lot of information but it is hard to get it to stick when I come down. I am wondering if anybody can provide some info on the mechanics behind this and if there are any kind of supplements or something that can help.

Thanks!

From my personal experience, I've only had memory "issues" if I am sleep-deprived from Adderall. I'm fine memory-wise as long as I take it as prescribed. I can't provide any "mechanics", just my personal experience.

Perhaps check the possible side effects and see if memory loss is listed.
