Nothing we don't already know here (the researchers act like they've discovered something new) - but worth posting up anyway, given how many guys still ignore the cardiac side-effects of acute and chronic AAS use.

It's another reason for guys to consider adding a blood-pressure medication (such as an angiotensin-II receptor blocker) to their ancillary arsenal in every cycle.

"Daytime and nighttime blood pressures were considerably higher among ongoing AAS abusers than among former abusers and non-users, and most ongoing abusers had hypertension during the night."
