A Vyvanse-like prodrug for methamphetamine?

Is there such a thing as a prodrug (converted to desired compound inside body) for methamphetamine -- analogous to Vyvanse, a pro-drug for dextroamphetamine?

If there was, could it open some interesting new therapeutic applications for conditions that methamphetamine might help, but isn't currently prescribed for because of risk of abuse and addiction?

Anybody heard of such a thing? Would it be chemically easy to do, based on Vyvanse for dextroamphetamine?

Yes, it would be easy. Here it is:

That's a good idea, actually.

I'd love to try D-Deprenyl, prodrug for d-amph and d-methamph.

Interesting, didn't know about that one. It's a MAO-B inhibitor by itself too, huh? Might that be a bit of a contraindication? Likely not as bad as a beta-blocker though. I always thought a very selective alpha-blocker should show some potentiation with a NDRI/A

I tried d-deprenyl once or twice at regular prescription sized dosages, and despite it's sexy, metamphetamine-esque like structure, it was nothing special.

In fact, I noticed no effects.
