12 seeds are usually a bit more dangerous than that group.

picking a 12 over a 5 seed is pretty much a tradition in my bracket

Just a matter of who...

I like Wichita St but there's no guarantee they beat Illinois St in the MVC tourney

Not sure if they'd get in as an at large bid. Probably would because of their final four run not too long ago

final four run not too long ago
a season from 4-5 years does not impress the selection committee

at all

there's not as many automatic bids good enough to appear at a 2-7 seed this year and i feel the top 30 teams are not far off from each other and the 12-14 seeds have not been this weak, on paper, in years

I love how you know what goes on behind close doors on selection sunday

Why don't you just copy and paste joe lunardis bracket like everyone else?

As much as I hate his face, his shit is usually pretty accurate

The heels are overdue for another victory, def watching the tourney this year.

Plus the weed stores here in Colorado find a way to celebrate literally everything so I'm sure I'll be getting a M̶a̶r̶c̶h̶ Reefer Madness special.

Go Heels!

^ although i'd love to play/beat syracuse in first round bc my brother is a fan, i'd feel much safer as a 5 seed going against a team like rhode island or illinois state aka teams i don't think deserve to get at large bids

if minnesota beats MSU in BTT who they'll likely play friday, than i think they end up a 5 seed

the hype is for real just ask the coaches and media who voted:

PG(Jr) Nate Mason - First team all big ten
PF(So) Jordan Murphy - All big ten 3rd team
C(Jr) Reggie Lynch - All big ten defensive team
C(Jr) Reggie Lynch - Big ten defensive player of the year 106 blocked shots(2nd in NCAA...first year transfer from Illinois state, from minnesota and wanted to be a gopher since day one, good for him)
SF/SG(Fr) - Amir Coffey - All big ten freshman team
Richard Pitino(Minnesota) - Big Ten Coach of the year

none of those kids are leaving for the NBA, they'll probably all play in europe some day...although mason is good enough around the basket/outside shooter/passer/ball control/defensive player to play NBA if improves during his senior year imo, he's same size as trey burke

the already promising recruiting just got a lot easier

Kansas choked in the quarter finals to TCU...sweet. Too bad Duke won or today would have been perfect. Kentuckys got UGA again tomorrow. Let's hope UK has learned something from their first two games against them.

I went ahead and made the bracket thread.

China Rider, I'd say you are the early front runner with all these analyses you've been doing. I'll be curious to see your picks.

you're so kind

but i suck at brackets because i just pick who i want to win, there's certain teams ill never have reach sweet 16 so matter how good they are

i know it's a crapshoot anyway, and RIP to my analysis, i'm all out of addys

i'll def sign up though and probably will have minnesota in the finals like an asshole, my bracket is like voting for the green party

gophers....wolvererines...round 2(1pm CBS) winner faces wisconsin/northwestern in big ten finals

espn is the worst ,they openly shit on big ten, i guess if Minnesota and northwestern are two of the best teams how can they possibilty not be down8)

if minnesota can beat wisconsin in big ten finals they will have Ws over every big ten team and 10 RPI top 50 teams, i swear to god if 1 RPI top 50 win SMU gets a higher seed than gophs i'm gonna be furious

it fucking sucks, minnesota's only senior, who was a one year rental out of UW-milwaukee, who is their best 3 point shooter, team leader and hell of defensive player fucked up his achilles vs MSU yesterday, ending his season....i have more empathy for athletes than any other groups of people, that sucks so bad for him....and the team, depth was already a weakness

Sorry about the Minnesota game. They will still get a pretty good seed. We'll probably end up playing each other you know lol.

Williams Goss is killing it and karnowski holding it down in the paint it's got to be GU's year this time.

in the south region finals mother fucker

Maybe, but Middle Tennessee is one of the media darlings this year due to their MSU win last tournament. I think Minnesota will beat them but it's not going to be a cakewalk.

So Minnesota got gifted a Sweet 16 appearance...

why is butler that bad? they beat villanova twice

and if you don't think minnesota deserved a 4 seed you can fuck right off and go apply to gig with ESPN and be ACCocksuckers like the rest of them(jay 'harley' williams was freaking out because gophers were 18th and ACC tourney runner ups notre dame were 19 and big 12 tourney champs ISU was 20...the committee was saying they're all about equal but shifted them around for geographical reasons(pumped to have gophers play in milwakuee - about the mid point between minn/butler campus')....well guess what apprently the committee doesn't give that much if a fuck of conference tournaments considering how bad michigan and wisconsin were screwed....i fucking hate wisconsin but they're a 7 seed seed at worst, probably a 6

gophers/butler are the 4/5 seed most likely to meet the 1 seed in the sweet 16...arkansas/seton hall will be crushed by unc

i'm sure MTSU is a good team and can beat a lot of the at large teams but gophers isn't one of them, last i heard vegas is on crack making the spread PK, probably because MTSU is the trendy underdog that everyone on TV says is so great, fuck you, minneota is great, stop using their conference strength and last years BS to assess them, the conference is going to show america what's up this weekend and gophers SOS was top 20 and still won 24 games

love ya MTSU but you're not going to take down the 2nd best team in the big ten two years in a row

Easy there guy I picked Minnesota to go to the Elite 8

everyone is all on UNCs dick, not sure when that happened. Took Arkansas over them after smoking weed. Oh well

Teams that fucking suck: Purdue, Virginia, Gonzaga

Watch a bunch of douchebags pick St Mary's to upset Arizona

Fuck st Mary's, they have to beat VCU first

A10 son

WHAT
