(answered) “Image cannot be loaded from the passed link”

i always get this error message when i try to post an image. i use imgur to host the pics.

i copy and paste the link into the entry box on the image button from the toolbar. but it always says “Image cannot be loaded from the passed link.”

just copy pasting the link into the text box gives me no problems but the imgur logo and stuff clutter it up. i’d prefer to have the pic embedded.

any ideas on how to fix this? i see other people do it successfully so i’m wondering what i’m doing wrong

Imgur links work in the media icon like a YouTube video would

I get this error from certain sites/links, but not imgur.

But I definitely have just been posting the raw link, not one ending in .png , I’ll try that from now on
