You know your a psychonaut when ...

when you start counting the number of airplanes you see in the sky in a day even when your not tripping

...When you are sliding down a smooth beige slide and realizing that this slide is your own nose and as you fall off your own face you hang on to your beard for dear life and conclude that there's no way to go but down. When you eventually ask yourself the odd question "Wait, if this giant fucker here is myself, then what the fuck am I right now?" You suddenly snap out of it.

Then your dog says "Has it kicked in yet?..."

"did you take that 3-cpo again?"(sic) =D

Haha!

That reminds me of:

"Trade: Phenodihydrochloride benzelex. Street: The embalmer."

You know you're a psychonaut when you present statements resembling the ones Danny does in "Withnail and I". For anyone who hasn't seen the masterpiece film, here is a quote from Danny:

"I don't advise a haircut, man. All hairdressers are in the employment of the government. Hair are your aerials. They pick up signals from the cosmos and transmit them directly into the brain. This is the reason bald-headed men are uptight."

Classic.

When you are told this by a friend: I feel like you are an angel I can speak to without saying a word.

.. when you take LSD during a chemotherapy to think about your life and about your possible death.
Was possibly one of the most beautiful days of my life.

When you don't use horrid media buzzwords like "psychonaut" to label yourself ;)

I take it you're not in the UK then? It's pretty common in British tabloids and vile "documentaries". Some of which have featured BLers... who instantly regretted taking part when they saw how they'd been edited :|

PS: I'm not one of those BLers. Although one good thing was that Spongle sampled one of these documentaries on their last album. EADD's lil claim to fame =D

That's weird Shambles. I haven't heard anyone use that term outside of the internet. I never thought of it as having any kind of negative connotation - for me it's just a way to refer to psychedelic users.

^. Yeah like someone said it is a big term in the uk.

On all the recent documentaries about legal highs, etc being shown on big channels (like bbc1 , etc) they use the term .

e.g- They interview this guy who orders and does an sometimes mixes reasearch chemicals .
And the narrator of the documentary calls him a psyconaught

When you've tripped so hard you've seen the visuals get so intense that they can't get anymore intricate and end up turning into fucking black and white static. I've experienced it.

Or when you think that you are actually your future self from another reincarnated life in the far future where life forms are so advanced that I psychically time traveled back in time and inhabited the body of a past life that I'm using now. Prove me wrong.

The person you bought your acid from calls you crazy for taking a 10 strip, only to call you later on and comment on how your acting fine.

You are unable to tell someone what acid is like, not because of how incredible the experience is but youve become so use to it its nothing big.

Your friends make comments about how you might actually be tripping right now and they would have no idea, its happened before.

Ditto sounds like me too.

What are some of these documentaries called? For some reason Im interested just because BLers are involved :)

When people tell you "don't trip" ( as in "don't worry"), you respond "...but I am..." in confusion. 8)
