Esoteric What is the most beautiful thing known to man

^Amen

i agree completely. I just didnt post it in here so as not to sound redundant as i imagined a lot of people might have said the same thing by now. But alas you are only the 2nd person to mention love.

And to me that is the most beautiful thing.

You can feel it towards the universe, the world, life.
Sometimes as a result of drugs, sometimes as a result of having yours eyes open at just the right time in just the right place.

You can feel it towards another individual and have that feeling reciprocated. What can feel better than the most pleasurable feeling in the world is pulsing through you and your partners body.

Love, you really cant beat it.

Even in all my most pleasurable trips the feeling that was most noticeable was love.

the only thing more beautiful than love is awe.

personally, i would say anything untouched by man. something ancient, something mystical, something that can define in itself the various adjectives people would use to describe it

a great example is the opening of cormac mccarthy's "the road"

magic mushrooms?hehe

The pure essence of being - just being able to experience, regardless of the situation that makes up what is being experienced.

Basically knowing what it is to be alive

Trees, they harbor so much life, they provide so much for life, and nature, and contain so much "energy" (for lack of better words). It's impossible to describe trees, Language is finite, it can't describe the infinite.

Just knowing that we are more than microscopic when compared to the size of the earth, then the size of our galaxy, then the size of the universe.

Just knowing that a "simple" atomic bomb can put people in disbelief and awe, when there are supernova's out in infinite space that earth itself would be a piece of dust when compared to.

Space just amazes me. It's the one thing humans will always strive to understand yet never will. I often think about how our everyday lives can be overwhelming to us when we are basically nothing in comparison to the size and power and mystery of our universe.

I like staring into the nightsky and then realising I am actually observing infinity....Yar. Lotsa things almost floor me with their beauty these days.....:)
