Tbf i've been given enough connections to individuals in Oz to be satisfied. I'm bored frequently, but i'd always be.

But as far as places, events, creative, institutions, options, places to meet weirdoes or engage in productive work on any night/day of the week - yeah, australia is fucked. Fucked.

I grew up thinking being a true outback aborigenie would be brill.

Is there an outback even now? If so, what's the WiFi like there these days?

A woman at my workplace. She is the kind of person who calls you, emails you about what you just discussed with no new information, sends you a calendar invitation related to the call, emails you to let you know she sent you a calendar invitation, and then emails to acknowledge that you have accepted her calendar invitation.

But sometimes sheā€™s hilarious. I sent something with a rapidly approaching deadline. The two of us and one other person were involved. We all work in the same organization in buildings located within a block of each other.
She emailed me and asked me if the deadline was in our time zone. Itā€™s like what other time zone would I have put it in? Some random time zone that none of us are in?? šŸ˜†šŸ˜†

There is massive outback here absolutely. Heaps of desert. China is setting sights on this shit for the minerals i think, possibly on invasion according to some. Re: wifi, well i'm not really sure how to track that. My VPN offers a lot of locations in the centre of Oz. Prob just some wack Watch God base shit right? I heard a rumour that that kid Sauron ended up being nothing more that a glorified timepiece based on a degraded casio watch chip from the far past. Turned into a corroded perception & tryin to turn that into a nightmare.

Mostly they ignore her. Like I know some just ignore her communications. I have adopted that position to the extent possible and just donā€™t engage unless absolutely necessary, and for the minimum amount of time.

I've got it bad for you. It's been like this ever since the day I met you. You're one of the most beautiful and intriguing things I've ever seen and I want to make love to you in the worst way. It drives me absolutely fucking crazy every time we all get together and I have to be around you. It would be better if I could never see you again. But that's not going to happen and as the years go by, this just gets harder and harder for me.
