I havent done this much but i have done it about a year ago both with diazepam and tramadol.

The diazepam i took after work and was knocked out so stopped using them after work and instead using before bed.

The tramadol i can take at work and work with no problems whatsoever, i can if anything work better.

What are your guys thoughts, meds you take working or not ?

I work Frieght all night at my job, so I have to take drugs to keep myself out of as much pain as I can. I take Subutex 8-32 mg depending on how much pain I'm in. I know some people say less is more, but they are not in my shoes. I also take 800 mg Gabapentin every couple hours as needed. And ibuprofen 400 mg every four hours. When I can get Soma, I also take 2 every few hours if I'm in major pain. So yes, I take drugs whilst working every night. I know several of my fellow workers do as well. It's rough work for people with a wide range of pain problems. Another good thing to do is stretch before, and after work. Then I take 10 mg of Valium to make sure I get a good 8 hours sleep before the next nights work. I have also taken Ritalin, Adderall, and Tramadol at work when I can get it. So yes, Drugs help me get through my job. I would not be able to work without something for my pain especially.

I take Lyrica before work and a .5 xan during the day as needed for GAD. The days go so much faster when I’m not filled with anxiety!

:O Just how man ? The xanax sure, but lyrica :O how do you do it ? I did it once when prescribed but i felt drunk and was sent home. I never took them again.

By the way how do they make you feel ?

Yea we gotta do what we gotta do to work, where i work we gotta declare it but by doing so sort of excludes you from the job so its a catch 23 situation, i just put no then at a later date can say oh ive only just been put on them if caught. But if i didnt use them i couldnt work, its that simple. But god knows how you can take gabapentin 800mg bro, i had pregab 150mg and felt drunk as a skunk at work, never again did i take them.

... Inception, wanna be Careful, since that accident with your other thread

Anyway, this is a perfectly fine question, however I think it’s just more suited to Drug Culture

Since there isn’t really a specific scenario or other question, just generally “Do people work on drugs?”

I very much worked on drugs, and was told I worked better on them ;) (Bith by people who knew, and people who didn’t, and just thought I was having a good day) Howeve, I started doing drugs drastically early and had a naturally high tolerance, and U am just pretty, uh, well I was probably, at least seemed ridiculous

However, this thread still isn’t material for either of my subforums; IMHO - So, I may / probably move it with coffee. A tag will appear, so it will still be in Other Drugs for awhile, however it wilk be in drug culture, where this type of discussion probably goes (BDD is harm reduction, this is like intermediate and advanced drug discussion, and kind of an unofficial opioid sub forum, and benzodiazepines, and alternative drugs, I guess - Like I said, just being careful because of the accident with your other thread. I have bad luck with your threads so shall try and be careful!

I did mean prescribed medication that they need to take whilst working, nothing illicit. Sorry for the confusion. I have to work using tramadol, work knows this but didnt the first time round and due to that i was sacked. I didnt mean for this to be a thread of taking any drugs people want whilst working, im not about that, i think its wrong, but for medical reasons its completely different which is what the intention of this thread was. I do apologise.

In regards to the diazepam i have stopped using them i was referring to 2 weeks ago and before on that, i am clean of diazepam, non dependant anymore :)
