Anyone ever try supplements for dream enhancement?

I've heard and know from personal experience that simple dietary supplements like vitamins and valerian root can intensify dreams. I've tried vitamin b, zinc, and other supplements before bed and they've given me gnarly dreams. Last night I took a 50mg zinc and had a very vivid dream that the earth moved way close to the sun but we all somehow managed to survive. The sky turned red and we built shelters and special clothing to survive the tremendous heat. The sun took up most of the sky. It was like an action movie. Any other dream enhancers I'm missing?

On a side note I used to smoke weed and drink but I've stopped doing that almost two weeks ago so now just taking it easy. I've been experimenting with supplements for dream enhancement for a few years now, about twice a week or so. Trust me it makes a big difference.

Each dietary supplement, vitamin or mineral offers a different kind of kick to each dream I've noticed too, for instance magnesium dreams are pretty cool as well!

Melatonin can give me pretty intense dreams sometimes
Melatonin is a good one I've tried. I've done various combos, like b6 and melatonin, b6 and magnesium, zinc and melatonin etc. Also caffeine before bed if you can manage to sleep will give some pretty intense dreams.

Last night I drank some kava kava tea before bed, a heavily brewed batch. Amazing stuff, gets you crunked and gives awesome dreams. I dreamt I was on a wicked race car track with a friend going over 100mph. He was driving so recklessly. There were huge hills and depressions and every time he'd go up a hill we'd get wicked air. I actually got the sensation we were flying. I felt the drop in my stomach when we fell and I actually felt some pain and vibration when we landed each time. First time I've felt waking world sensations in my dream.

The thing that gave me the most intense and vivid dreams so far, was Amanita Muscaria, but I was microdosing it - 3-5 grams per day of dried cap was my usual dose. Apart from that, other substances, which I noticed are potentiating my dreams, are NSI-189, DMT, 3-MeO-PCP, Methoxetamine, Celastrus paniculatus seeds and etc. I'm aware that the substances I've listed are not 'supplements', but I am referring to when I was taking them in very small doses before bed or earlier in the day.

Although it's not a supplement, SSRI's gave me very vivid dreams

I took SSRI's for 5-6 years and those gave me wild vivid dreams. I think kava and valerian root give the most intense. Oh and st John's wort extract has some awesomely weird dream potential as well!

This one time last year I took 900mg of st John's wort extract. Recommended dosage was 300-600mg per day so slightly over rec amount. Had a dream I went up a tornado. Sounds cheesy but it was very intense. Felt like shit the next day though.

blue cheese is purported to be significantly oneric, but don't eat the rinds: nightmare food.

Try taking Melatonin, Valerian, and Vitamin B6.

I experimented with this combination years ago and my dreams were EXTREMELY vivid, powerful, and realistic and all of my senses were there. I also had lucid dreams quite a few times from this combination.
