UK Ketamine Thread v.2 - shortage or not?

K's definitely back around my parts, 25-30 a gram or an eighth for 80. I've not inquired about prices higher than this, i've been trying to lay off the stuff, bar special occasions.

The only issue is that it's inconsistent, some days you may have strong uncut Ket, other days you might get it cut with salt (bane of my existence) and then sometimes you still end up getting Tiletamine or some other dissociative that doesn't compare with standard K.
 
Yes! Ket is most certainly back and in abundance! Unfortunately, the prices still haven't got back down to what they were (£20/g £60/3.5), but the quality is most certainly there. I'm not sure if the bulk prices are still higher than they were (talking about more than a litre here), so it's unclear if these slightly higher prices are down to low-level dealers selling it for £25-30/g because they know they can get away with it or if it's just cos they are paying more. At the moment, I can't see the prices going down anymore.

Recently switched over from sniffing to IM. Gotta say, it isn't a huge improvement, but the onset feels much nicer. The main bonus being that you're not constantly distracted by the sinus issues from sniffing big lines. Highest I went was 400mg IM and that still didn't cause a K-hole, which is a reet cahnt :!.
 
^Isn't IM'ing ketamine a huge issue with the quality of the stuff at the moment?

I'd definitely be concerned about what I'm actually forcing into my muscle tissue if 400mg isn't doing much for you
 
K is very expensive here still, 30 from people who have been sniffing it for ages, 40 from the profit hungry

I'd happily pay 40 for clean product.

Half a loaf is better than no loaf, but is a loaf at double the price better than no loaf?
 
I've still a high tolerance and it's been months since I had last had any, credit card size lines would just get me wobbly, but yea product is very clean ATM
 
Just had some tested reagent and then GCMS comes back primo shit. Looks like long crystals bit like rice and pearlescent white.

But I've no clue what to expect. Steered clear of this compound for a looooong time. Don't know why. Possibly because of seeing the wonky damage in clubland.

So ok first time how to do and what to expect? Checked some reports etc but a lot say Meh. If it's high purity would a dose of 30mg be a bit keen for first ever hit?

Is this a something I can do in company none drug users at low - medium dose and get away with it / have fun or is it defo a closed door drug with the droogs? Alcohol does it synergise well / big no no? Basically can I take a hit still be outwardly straight but be having a lush one. Either way happy enough to give it a go but need to plan the set and setting.
 
30mg too low.

Two K effects. (And you have to find your dose anyway - I seem to have an incredible natural tolerance to K, my gf the opposite).

Effect 1- wobbly. You can dance and feel King of the world.

Effect 2 - k-hole. Harder to find than you might imagine (or am I just projecting?)

You can do K on your own, no sitter, and you'll be fine. On the other hand...

...perfect set and setting. (And now I am being subjective). Experienced friend. Two fat lines. Acid techno. LAY DOWN. Close your eyes. Become a building block of evolution. 45 mins of acid techno later you will quickly re-emerge and spend the next two weeks boring your friends with how you've just discovered the King of Drugs.

Fuck off the alcohol. Why would you need it?

Yes! Don't plug it. It's the only drug I've come across that scarily changes experience on plugging. But you wouldn't do that anyway.

Reckon I'll aim for effects 1 do about 50 mg and see how it goes. All reports suggest this is very high purity so don't want to be caught out. Up for the full monty I guess but as with anything new I'm generaly a bit of a cautious opitmist - easy and gradual see where I end up. Defo gonna go solo, up for a bit of selfish indulgence and not having to interact with anyone. Peace quiet and self reflection is required every so often plus mates who have done say it's horrible and they aren't interested!

Initial bought K on a whim, strange I've never done or actually had the opportunity all these years. Bought for clubbing. Don't know if it's just my experience but it seemed to be very popular mid 00s onwards as alternative to MD so thought I'd give a whirl. But now after properly reading around not sure it's best to be experimenting. Think I'll wait for the Xmas holidays for the trial run and I'll stick with the defqons (but not sticking them...)

Alcohol agree except possibly a nice glass wine goes with most things.
 
Trust me, if you combine wine with the ketamine, you'll just end up in need of a barrel of salt/carpet cleaner for when you knock the wine over.

But all the best mate, I reckon you know what you're doing and fun you shall have. And ain't that what drugs are meant for?
 
Just to reiterate: Alcohol + Ket (especially for a first time) = a big no-no. Just makes you feel queasy as all fukkery. With tolerance you will... tolerate the two together but it really is just tolerance - they just don't play well together.

Personally I would recommend 100mg for the hole if non-tolerant and it is genuinely pure stuff. That dose was enough for me and all I know first time to hole fully. This was in the tenner a gramme era, mind...

For a wonk I'd say half of that. Again assuming zero tolerance and primo product.

The good news is that effects can build if you redose... but if you dose right you shouldn't really want or need to until it naturally wanes and the redose point comes (45-60mins depending on dose ime). Short-term tolerance builds quickly all the same. Longterm tolerance also builds quickly and leaves almost imperceptibly slowly... :|
 
First time I took ket I got it off a kid just back from Glastonbury with a load of powders. Took it on a complete whim whilst my then missus was pottering about the kitchen - what was (to my mind) a "coke-size" line (bearing in mind cocaine had cocaine in back then ;)_ that was, in hindsight, ~100mg and probably on the light side of that cos I too am surprisingly cautious with new compounds.

Ten minutes later I called out to tell her that I had inexplicably found myself in Super Mario 64. Not even kidding. All the walls melted away and I was literally in Mario 64. Damndest thing I ever did see. The apparently real word was kinda overlaid and mixed in with it in a way hard to describe.

Needless to say said then missus joined me for a line and we spent the rest of the night playing choo-choo trains to KLF records. That gramme lasted us both from around 6pm til 5am the next day - we holed on each and every line. Pure ketamine to the non-tolerant is intense as all fukkery... but also the mildest, most embracing and least fearful drug I have ever come across. Pure heaven <3
 
^then you wouldn't like my friends. Hence why it's taken so long to actually planning on trying it. They talked about getting liquid vials back in late 90's and then boiling it to form crystal so I guess it was the primo. They all love coke and I'm not a fan (or at least not a big fan and don't ever see the need to continuing dosing after a couple of lines, it just becomes boring for me) so guess it sums it up - in need of more wonky looking friends.
