Morning guys and gals :)=D

Can not see the point in sleeping now. Easy(ish) day at work, early finish. Take the kids out for a bit. Park? Swimming?

Saturday morning im going to take my daughter to buy her a present/prize for getting an excellent school report, I know it's not that big a deal around that age as they all learn at different rates. The beginning of the year (1st) she fell really behind on her literacy and numeracy, below average and getting to the point it was concerning us and it really upsetting her because her friends were way ahead of her and I think making fun of her.

Her mom found an extra tuition classroom. She goes three times a week for an hour n'a half, you can go for all 7 days if you want as it's the same price if you go 1 time in a month or 31 times. I was a bit skeptical about it and how much she was gaining from it. Well, they proved me wrong.

She got above average in every area. She lies in bed reading proper kids books like The BFG to herself after either her mom or myself read with her for a bit.
Her spelling is really good, gets mixed up a bit but compared to where she was it's incredible.

She tells me that she loves maths and is always getting me to write down loads of sums for her to work out. And she gets them right 80-90% of the time. Oh, and her handwriting is spot on, loves to practice that too.

This was a girl only 6 months ago would be in floods of tears trying to get her to read a sentence. If she got a word wrong, a letter or number she would go mad. Not because she's naughty, because she was frustrated...

I dunno why I'm waffling on and boring y'all with my daughter can read, write and do arithmetic.. but I am..

I'm really fuckin proud of her, all the disruption I've caused with my issues and she's loving school and loving learning and doing it all with panache because she's cool as fuck, beautiful and going to be a reet smarty pants.. GO GIRL <3

So Yeh, where was i?? Erm....ah, Saturday morning im buying her whatever she wants for being so ace (within reason). Drop her back home, their moms taking them to a party later on..

I shall be partaking in some 1P-LSD Saturday afternoon and I cannot wait. It's been longer than it should of been and a mental clear out is long over due.. So hopefully Saturday the sun will shine bright and myself and my buddy will be laughing so much it hurts =D

Books a good idea, I always tend to buy her and her brother ones on birthdays and Xmas, special pretty books like, not nicked out of the bargain bin at Asda.

Write a little passage on the front page.. I like doing that.

Nah, I was thinking something really LOUD and annoying for her mother to listen to.. maybe a musical instrument, good to get her started now and the first year will be excruciating =D Violin I reckon.. drums would be pretty effective too.

Oh yeah, you thought it was Thursday today about 4 times, I told you plenty of times but you carried on with it and got me questioning what day it was. I thought as I pressed post, "it is Friday isn't it".. <3
 
Scotch, You just made me fill with pride. I know that feeling all too well. Doesn't matter if it's a great school report, a good deed or and amazing ollie! Just being happy for your child and that specific pride is something amazing. Best friday thread I've read in ages. Goodness, I'm even proud of your little girl. Well done!

Have a great one love. I'm running off of very little sleep due to work and excitement but I'm sure to be bed bound soon. ;)

A full day of work ahead but going on a boattrip through Amsterdam's canals afterwards. Was supposed to go to a festival tomorrow but the weather's gonna be so bad I think I might stay in and do some 2cb

Wide awake, spent most of the time mooching at pc games, I ended up buying fucking ten. Was going to go Bristol today for the weekend, but shit got serious with my mates down there, so thought Ill leave it. Now I have to wait fucking ages for these games to download.

Then, following my meth, my saturday morning staple superhero movie (Man of Steel 3D today, just spent the last 5 saturdays working through 'The Superman Motion Picture Anthology 1978 - 2006)

Hopefully the vip lab assistant i booked for the afternoon should be here as soon as that lots out the way, so I can continue the vital research im conducting into the effect 1-P LSD has on my mushy brain
