whats the best way to smoke hash oil if you don't have a vaporizer?

i've been sprinkling it on my weed but i feel like after the first couple hits most of it melts and falls into my bong or the bottom part of my bowl where i can't hit it. i know i could put the oil on a blunt but does anyone know any possible way i could just smoke it out of my bowl without wasting a bunch when it melts?

are the two cheapest ways to smoke BHO.

a Health stone on a chinese rig would probably be the most expensive option.. that wouldnt break the bank completely
 
I recently have been adding a small amount to the wrap when I am rolling a blunt. If you take a small amount and heat it on a butter knife until it becomes a liquid it is easy to spread on the wrap and since the spread is thin it all burns and its not like if you tried to do it with hash how sometimes the clumps dont fully burn. I actually am a big fan of this as I get the best of both worlds the enjoyment of a blunt and the "kick" of some nice oil without the hassle or complication of a rig and torch.
 
if you want to get crafty you can make a light bulb vape.

A spare small pipe would work nicely as mentioned above; load the hash inside the pipe and heat the glass from bellow until it boils, drawing back slowly on the mouth piece.

This will only work nicely (in my opinion) if your glass pipe is PERFECTLY clean.



On a sunny day, try setting it on a plate with a glass jar upside down over it. Use a magnifying glass to heat the chunk of hash through the jar untill it's filled with smoke (vapor??? depends on how well you hold the light to it I guess) and then use a bent straw to suck out the goodies~!
 
Fuck all that just heat a paper clip or pin up then stick some hash on it and put the cup on top.
 
It's easy to smoke on foil as well. Just put small globs on, hold the flame a bit away from the bottom of the foil, inhale the smoke with a straw. If you have a big enough bowl, packing it three fourths or a bit more, then molding the hash into a disc, and covering the disc with more weed works fairly well.
 
Modified e-cig is the cheapest way to be able to smoke oil. 510 battery and a globe top and you're good to go for 2 months for the price of a steak at TGI Friday's.
 
Get a Ceramic nail and a propane torch put the nail istead of a bong bucket and dab it. If you have alredy a bong this whole Kit cost 20$ and will make you dab for at least 3-5 months depend on frequency of usage. (i went for titan nail but it cost much more) ceramic is the cheapest i think.
 
Evenly spread the oil through the center of the joint or better yet a blunt, but that's tobacco. It will burn slow if done properly if not it will run bad. The roach has the most concentration have a clip ready to smoke dat shit to the last piece.

Edit : for ecigs look up the vaped company and get the wickless cart as the wicks burn and taste funky while the ceramic element works as a great heat buffer. Use that cart on any 510 threaded battery and I suggest looking for a adjustable/variable temperature battery that easily allows you to adjust power output while external charging batteries you can get 2-3 at a time to be ready to use your vaporizer wherever.

The dab rigs are good ideas. Get a glass on glass piece with a female to make glass on glass piece to fit the downstem, a glass on glass water pipe of course, preferably titanium over quartz glass nail as the titanium holds heat better even though glass is less likely to affect the taste of the hash, and a glass dome to fit over the nail. There are pieces called oil reclaimers that are optional and fit between the nail and stem with a detachable piece where the oil collects so that you can take the piece off and collect up another dab.


Also for easy simple hash oil quality hash look up QWISO. It's a very easy low risk method to produce hash with isopropyl alcohol. Isopropyl is flammable, but reasonable amounts should not be a huge risk if proper risk management practices are in place. Can produce blond hash that when scraped even dry will darken in color. Definitely wait for the tray to be bone dry completely,which will happen faster and only with concentrations above 90% preferably 99% as the less water there is will lead to less chlorophyll and stuff getting in the mix as well.

Please don't use foil. Aluminum is a known neurotoxin, and I've seen foil smoke from a plain lighter flame.
 
Ceramic flavor discs, they are similar to health stones BUT ONLY $5 you can smoke your concentrates with a bic lighter!!!!!
 
heavy duty foil will not smoke, unless u hold the lighter on it for a long time. smoking a bit of dabs off of heavy duty foil isnt gonna hurt u if u do it right
 
Get a proper oil rig.

Glass/Titanium/Quartz nails/buckets/bangers are really very cheap these days.

Honestly, I think the OP's idea of smoking off of the top of a bowl is better than most, if not all, of the ideas given in this thread.
 
Ceramic flavor discs sit perfectly in a bowl and allow you to use a bic lighter, hands down the best way period
