I am prescribed 150 a month but because of my age and the work I do I sometimes have to take more than 5 a day which leaves me short on other days. The information I would like to know is what is the best way to ingest them when working with less and what things might extend and or potentiate them that the average guy say in Arizona would have easy access to ?

after doing a simple search, i found out that grapefruit juice is the best way to potentiate it, you can also use DXM, or smoke weed with it.

i havent tried any of these though, so i dont know how true it is.

I have been using thes, all mg, all methods of ingestion and all brands, for 18+ years. I haven't found anything.that will make them last longer.

You should add cannabis therapy to your regiment. Most people can reduce concurrent opiate doses by 50-80%.

You should also look into an ER medicine, 5 oxyIR a day isn't a good PM plan.

Yes, weed would definitely help & you wouldnt even use all 5 oxys in one day.......but the thing is, if you're like me & you font like how weed makes you feel, you can't mix them.

As for grapefruit juice, etc......only thing it did was make my high/buzz feel different, not last any longer.

Don't know what kind of work you do, but have you ever asked for a muscle relaxer? That's if your problem lies towards needing them.

definitly switch to an extended release medication. Maybe try morphine in an extended release formula and if you are open to it use small doses of high CBD cannabis edibles. This shouldn't be a hard sell to your doc to switch you over to a longer acting pill and hopefully you live in a medical marijuana state. Oxycodone is a short acting opioid and probably isn't best for long term pain management.

was it better, more euphoric? how much juice do you have to drink for it to have an effect? also, would 15mg make for a good high?

I have asked about switching to a time release and my Dr isn't real big on doing that. He just started writing me a muscle relaxer (robaxen) but I can't say I have noticed anything different

My Dr has prescribed me Trazodone 50mg for sleep. Is this of any help to potential the oxy? Does grapefruit juice really work and if so how much? 15mg is a tad on the low side unless you have no tolerance
