What's the crowd like at an ambient techno party? Too cool for school or what?

Cant wait for his Plays Bee Mask LP, due for release in the next couple of weeks :) Some fine releases from the man Dozzy this year already, including the recent 200 EP and Peter Van Hoesen remix
 
And yeah, Voices from the Lake - another great, timeless LP. Proper deep stuff.

Check out Donato's first album 'K' if you can, hard to find but superb stuff in a similar vain as Voices from the Lake

Very cool crowd and not pretentious at all. They played in a warehouse loft to about 150 people. It wasn't made up of any special crowd of chin-stroking tossers, it was just the local core crowd of people who know good music and show up to good shows in the vein of deep house/minimal/techno. Lots of people dancing, plenty of partying. I was happy that I got to show my guests a good time!

The only dubtechno producer I know is Dj Rum, who is sick, but otherwise know fuck all about the genre. Will give this thread a rinseout later tonight! :D
