Alright, I just thought I would give some bomb ass kratom recipes so that you all can drink this substance while not holding back from throwing up.
Chamomile-Spearmint Kratom Tea
Boil 6 cups of water
Put 5 tbsp of chamomile flowers and 1 tbsp of spearmint leaves into a french press
Pour the boiling water over the herbs, stir and let brew for 10 minutes
Push down the filter and pour back into the pan
Add however much kratom that is needed (my tolerance is at 22 g red kali, so the herb brew is strong enough to even cover that)
Simmer for 15 mins, stirring for every 5 minutes.
Put however much sugar or coconut sugar you'd like for taste into cup.
Put your strainer bag into the cup and pour the tea into it.
Strain and Enjoy!
The spearmint gives it a nice, refreshing sweet taste to it and the chamomile is what really covers up the kratom taste by giving it a nice, lemony herbal taste. Not to mention added relaxation
Lemongrass-Blood orange Kratom Tea
Same procedure as above, but instead of spearmint and chamomile, you use 4 tbsp dried blood orange with 1 tbsp dried lemongrass. The lemongrass is extremely powerful and will mask the taste of the blood orange if you use too much. This is my absolute favorite recipe, and it is even good enough to not even use any coconut sugar to help mask the taste.
Lait de Vanille Kratom Tea
Do the normal preparation of the kratom and once it's completely strained all you do is add the coconut sugar to your preferred taste along with some sweetened vanilla almond milk. Do a lot or a little. I prefer to use a lot since this doesn't use any herbs that are extremely powerful in taste.
You can also use some of your favorite tea bags along with some sugar, honey, agave nectar or coconut sugar to help mask the taste. However, I don't find this to cover up the taste as well as the former recipes. Although my favorite tea to use with kratom is Yogi Bedtime tea. It's a very sweet, relaxing tea that goes well with the kratom.
I get all of my herbs from Adagio Teas, and they're pretty fairly priced compared to the other tea and herb stores/sites that I've come across and they have a MUCH wider selection of herbs, teas and rooibos. If you don't have a french press, there are a lot of places on the internet that sell them for very cheap. I got mine for $15 at my local tea shop. Hell, I'm sure they even have them at Wal-Mart. These things are a GREAT investment. Once you use one for coffee, you'll never want to go back to using the coffee machine again. It makes the flavor of the tea and coffee so much better. Although I must advise you that you NEVER use fine ground tea, kratom or coffee in a french press as this will clog the filter and make it extremely hard to push it down.
Enjoy!
Namaste.
