Music for Rolling

Isn't it funny, no matter how much of a shit mood you're in, once you hear a song that you were rolling balls to, you reminisce of that particular night, and at once you are suddenly in a much better mood?
 
I'm actually not big on trance. I find it a bit repetitive and soft. I never used to like electronic music until I went to a doof that had a dubstep stage. I really gained an appreciation for that style of music when I discovered that it needs to be LOUD. It also helps if you're on drugs.
 
hardstyle on meth , its make ur heart beat faster and literally makes ur body feel good . im guessing this has something to do with the heartbeat and dopamine release .
 
Im just wondering why Aussies music taste is so different to the rest of the world, just curious whos trend are we mainly following? I luv my Progressive house, deep house, trance, psytrance, trance and techno. Thats what the majority of people listen to in Eastern Europe, not sure bout the situation in western EU as Ive never really lived there only visited but mainly it was the same style of music. I know US is big on rap for example as its influenced by the african americans or w/e. Just wondering why and who we are following? The music I show my mates here are blown away who never heard house/techno or as above before.

Drum and bass is too fast for me, dubstep is just weird and too slow and hard time to find the beat unless u really pay attention to it and hardstyle for me imo isnt talented music creation, with the genres mentioned above like progressive house, trance or similar u just glide along to the music and there are so many nice sounds in it that builds up which bring ur emotions up and down and sends shivers down ur spine when it actually kicks in again, u just watch what happens to people when they are on MDMA and the buildup is like 1-2 mins, everyone puts there hands on there heads and there eyes start to roll then kicks in and ur mindset changes and let the beat take over ur body, I guess u wont know until u have actually experienced it. Ive tried molly on almost every genre of music but IMO every drug has its music for it, for example psytrance and psychedelics, they go hand in hand or some speed and fast techno beats. U get the drift.

Mainstream dubstep is a shit stain on today's music industry, I fucking hate it with a passion. Underground dubstep was the shit, but mainstream has fucking raped and ruined it.

I feel the same way about most dubstep songs the build up n drop is just fucking amazing when your on MDMA.It all comes down to personal perfrence.Im sure i will be into somthing even fuckin crazyer than dubstep next year,i went from listing to nothing but hardstyles to nothing but dubstep hell i used to be a fuckin full on emo metal head.All the people who say "oh yer i hate mainstrem dubstep" are just trying to go against the grain n be hardcore.sorry if that came out rude but im high as a kite atm n cant give 2 fucks :D
 
Electronic tunes are nice to munt to but I personally prefer some good rock with good, heartfelt lyrics, especially if Im with loved ones. Anything Metallica, Staind, Disturbed or Cold Chisel please!

Disagree dude, I'll always prefer trance because it sounds better, it's more "epic" and it unites when combined with MDMA a way I haven't seen other drugs do, I can't think of other drugs where there is so much unity in a whole arena. Having said that, when the beats are cranking and the hardstyles pumping there is no way you could convince me that shuffling on MDMA isn't the absolute tits. Especially at hardstyle events when there is lots of people on it, it may look/seem aggressive if you're not use to it, but I don't think it all contradicts MDMA, and Hardstyle is definitely enhanced significantly by MDMA.

And when I'm shuffling the music is moving me, if I'm peaking hard I find myself nearly in a state of trance (see what I did there) and I'm not trying to impress people but ultimately the musics moving my legs and it's highly addictive.

It would sound atrocious from your house because you can't hear it properly. Alot of hardstyle is actually very euphoric and the melodies are amazing.

And shuffling, most people I know who shuffle don't care about how they look they do just let the music move them but they express it through the one style. And the more you shuffle the better you get, and it's a top of the world feeling when your on MDMA and someone compliments your dancing. Its actually a very plur environment at Defqon despite what you might think (excluding the few little lads ofcourse, the big lads are actually nice guys lol)
 
Hardstyles is more of a "chargy" scene, one would enjoy base, speed, meth more than MDMA, as you'll get the floored feeling.

Trance and MDMA is THE ultimate combo bar none. I've been to heaps of hardstyles events on MDMA but on trance it is so much better!
 
MDMA is made for house music imo whether its deep house, trance, progressive house. Anything that has a nice bass with different types of sounds is great. Dubstep annoys the hell out of me, prob the only music I dislike. U cant even dance to it and ur waiting for the music to build up to a nice fat beat but then nothing ever happens LOL Thats just me not sure how others feel about it. Im just comparing from what I have experienced different parts of the globe.

U want music to take u on a journey and trance + mdma will do that. Im just curious where did the hard style music come from? I mean what made Australia adopt it? Its virtually unheard of in most parts of the world. Underground scene has always been House music with lots of MDMA. Really curious to why?

Im not really keen on trance either personally.

Oh and I can hear Defcon clearly from my house, also drove fairly close to it (church over looking the event) had to leave as my ears started to bleed.

First time Defqon came to Sydney I was walking past my local about midday and thought why the fuck is the pub full of council workers? then realised it was people heading to defqon wearing high visibility clothing lol.

Anything with house in it really
