I always thought flatliners were shit.

I had some MASSIVE "strawberries" in 1995ish maybe, pink, smelt of strawberries, we took them and knew they weren't E's, we thought they were ephedrine, bad enough, but I since read on that ecstacydata site or somewhere they were a combo of ephedrine, ketamine and seleginine ( I think), fucking terrible pills.

The 90's wasn't all snowballs and red and blacks.

A few people have mentioned triangle mitsubishis...I was given a couple of these in about 2004ish maybe? I'd already decided by that point that anything bearing a Mitsubishi logo was probably wank (and I had a steady supply of playstations) and I gave them away....seems a lot of people remember the triangle mitzubishis as good pills?

There was only one decent MDEA pill, although there were lots* of shit weak attempts at them. BUT the best ever were called EVE's and, IIRC, had EVE printed on them as the stamp. I might have made that bit up. They were huge. And they made you in love with the floor and rolling around for fucking hours. They were great. Summer 1993.

I'm here to tell you MailMonkey is wrong about the 90's. His memory is fucked. He just smokes dope all day. He can't remember his name most days. The 1990's were nirvana. Well, Nirvana certainly had hits in the 90's. So I'm right.
 
I'm sure the 'Snowballs' were around for something like two weeks and then vanished (people didn't really enjoy them to party on). Same with the 'Flatliners' -they came and went very quickly as well (I actually enjoyed them at the time and was able to buy a load on the cheap as the dealer was stuck with them). After that the 'strawberry flatliners' came out?

Were the 'Eve's' not called the 'New Ecstasy' and there was some hype about it being MDxx mixed with brick dust to give it a red tint?
 
Snowballs were around where I was for about 12 months, they did make a dribbling mess of a fair few and I saw a smaller number loose the plot in a not so pleasant manner. Although the rose tinted spectacles are firmly on I rate them as some of the best pills I ever consumed.

I thought EVE was supposed to be MDEA.

I do remember ADAM's but they were nothing special.
 
I can remember the pink cali's also - not the stamp but the effects! They also came and went pretty quickly and were replaced with 'Spice Girls' (mid 90's now) - I lost a few days due to them and still has to be the biggest 'Black out' ever. I was on holiday but went into work and was apparently talking shit to everyone for a few hours before I went home again :D.

Batman (second pressing) came out around the same time - and then the Lightning bolts, they were not MDMA - they hit you in 15 mins and you tripped your ass of for about 50 mins before you monged out (or took another one)?

I honestly cannot remember that name? When did the first piperazine press of the 'Sharks' come around? Everyone lying on the floor being sick - not a good night out! Everyone thought it couldn't get any worse ..... It did Rockets!.

Home of 'The Sanctuary' ? I came around one morning after a night in there, I was standing in a garage ? I thought I should better do something (don't know how long I was standing in the light) I got a bottle of water and wandered off. Went into a phone booth and phoned a number for a taxi - they asked me 'where are you' I replied 'here' :D. I hitch hiked !
 
the pink calis and the earlier yellow cali's were great, i only got the pink ones once....:(

some barrelshaped double doves (dove stamp on each end) around 96ish were fucking superb too, i used to go from coventry to london to get them they were that good.
 
I'm surprised that most of you lot manage to recall the names of the pills from the old days.
I sure as hell don't bar a few.
 
i remember the very good ones, and the very shit ones. and some of the inbetween ones.

sometimes ace, sometimes poo, but different colours, different speckled doves were ubiquitous for a couple years 93-96ish...

Absolutely not, although I have spent many past years working in the Town of shiny glass. I went to Dreamscape at the Sanctuary once, under protest, had a shit time, GF's coat got nicked and we called it a night and went home.

I went to Milwaukee's in Bedford quite a few times and liked it there, big commercial raves were never my thing.
