Skyrim

I hear that man. I have bounties all over the place and I often forget so when I walk in the guards are all over me. Luckily money isn't a huge issue in this one. You can always just go dragon slaying and sell that shit.

Just got the skull of corruption.
It's a staff that is powered by peoples dreams.
Literally, I have to find sleeping people and absorb their dreams.

Was all set to try it out, and just thinking to myself how dragons never attack when I'm right outside the mages college. Then one did.
Also, if anyone was wondering, that narrow ass bridge from the college to winterhold is a BAD place to fight a dragon.
I was trying to run back into the courtyard, but the damn thing was right on top of the entrance, and the whole way there was on fire.

At the end of the dark brotherhood questline you begin "dark brotherhood forever", and it just sends you on endless missions to kill random NPCs.

I thought those NPCs were randomly generated ingame as most of them don't even have names. Some are just called "beggar" Or "Mill worker" or stuff like that.

^there is a list on the elder scrolls wiki of the people they potentially send you for.
It's pretty random. Could be the same description in the same town, but a new NPC.

If you furnish the new DB sanctuary with a torture chamber, it comes with live torture victims.
I just found how to get my one handed skill up. Slash them up, healing hands, repeat.

kenickie and I did the twitter scavenger hunt for catlanta cats today, and she came away with the skyrim one. I couldn't think of better people to brag to, so here you go.

The skyrim construction set comes out on tuesday?!? I expect some bad ass fucking kill animations :D

Thoroughly enjoying Skyrim here. I'm on the quest involving the escape from Pelagius' warped mind. =D

Infiltration of the Thalmor Embassy was awesome, too. I had a single invisibility potion, so I used that to sneak through the embassy partly, but after that I had to fight my way through. I didn't anticipate the invisibility potion wearing off halfway through the mission, so I only brought a bow, which made for a nice challenge once I had to start defending myself from the guards.

Havent played skyrim for a few days, might have a bash on it later, got a few quests on the go,

Currently gotta meet and guide this ghost bloke back to his long lost lover, only problem is theres about 3 dragons flying around nearby and they kick my ass

Back into Skyrim on PC after taking a break with Gears 3 on 360. Just completed the Thieves Guild quest line and finally started Dark Brotherhood. Should probably get back to main quest at some point buy hey, it's fun to take a look around!

Enjoying it every bit as much as Oblivion, which I put a good coupla hundred hours into, and waaaaaay better than Fallout New Vegas. What a disappointment that was after Fallout 3 and some great DLC. 8) It looks beautiful even on my crappy PC with the detail set to low to stop my PC screaming at me. Runs really hot even so. Probably something to do with all the dragon fire. ;)

Was tempted to start the thieves guild, quite like stealing stuff on there. kinda all over the place on it at the moment n its lagging a bit. although havent played it for awhile

Seems like everyone's joining the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood. We should make a poll, to see the proportion of deliberately evil vs. noble roles that BLers are playing. =D

I'm playing with my sister, and she can't stand to commit crimes in videogames, so we haven't stolen anything or murdered anybody. LOL

You'd be missing the best bits of the game staying so pure AppleCore. Dark Brotherhood quest line was by far the most fun in Oblivion. Just hope I get to kill people in such tricksy, sneaky ways all over again. :) Staying away from spoilers for now.

Yeah i can relate too this, despite completing both The Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild lines. It seems in most RPG games the game is geared towards taking the high-road, sure they offer the option of been evil but your really screwing yourself over in the long-run. The great thing about Skyrim is you can actually create an evil character and have guilds and quest-lines which reward you for playing that role; obviously the main story-line won't fit with this agenda but its refreshing to actually play that role and have a large supporting foundation within the game.

I havn't even started the main-storyline because i refuse to play it with my assassin character, i could.. but it wouldn't feel right. And i get the most enjoyment out of the game when im living the role of the character.

Im still frustrated that i can't trigger the Blood on Ice quest in windhelm, i want my house! Apparently the patch 1.4 was meant to fix this issue among others but it hasn't done anything for me.. im hoping with the release of the creation kit someone will come up with a more solid solution.

lol i was like that when i first started playing it, then i thought hang on a minute ive got the option to steal stuff why dont i just steal the fucking thing whilst he/she aint looking. went through the game for ages without blagging anything. im like it in real life as well, would feel guilty if i stole anything. never stole anything before. may have to try it soon... but only from somewhere that deserves it, like tescos or some shit

^ If I ever made my character start to thieve in Skyrim, I would have to justify it by saying that the stolen resources would ultimately be paid back to the world, by allowing me to be better equipped to rid the world of dragons. :D

Do Tescos stock many Dwarven Bracers of Alchemy?

Haven't done much in the thieves guild, because my sneak is shit.
Dark brotherhood on the other hand, was awesome. Shadowmere does not give a single fuck.

Currently working on the civil war questline. Joined the imperials. And purely to have a shout fight with the stormcloak guy. Main questline has taken me to some dwemmer ruins, and I have decided that dwemmer ruins are my least favorite place to be in this game.
