Which drug causes the longest lasting euphoria?

Without redosing or mixing, which drug causes the longest lasting euphoric effects?

Crap. Can a mod move this to BDD? Didn't mean to post it here, sorry!

For me it would be mescaline. The trip lasts all day, but there's a really strong afterglow that lasts the rest of the week.
 
Is mescaline really euphoric though? Don't get me wrong, I love the fuck out of psychedelics, and granted, I've never done mescaline, but I just don't really see psychedelics euphoric as per definition. There was one afterglow of a shroom trip I had though that I honestly couldn't stop smiling, my mind was clear, and I was actually happier then, than I have been in the past 2 years, so maybe they could be classified as euphoric, but eh...what do I know...
 
It depends on what you call euphoria, as well as your general drug of choice. Stuff like MDMA and various stims give you that loved up, chatty feeling, which could be called euphoria, but then again, some people would call the effect of opiates like heroin euphoria. Is very subjective based on your own preferences, and even when using the same drug, different experiences can vary a lot.
 
aMT at around 25mg orally last Saturday gave me 12-14 hours of strong euphoria (on a par with 150mg of MDMA), and was absolutely beautiful. I did manage to drink a lot, which felt very messy, coming off the aMT though. By comparison, MDMA gives me typically 3-5 hours euphoria, plus a couple of hours residual stimulation. aMT was wonderful as it ramps down slowly, appears to enhance music nicely as well.

I'd say aMT is on a par, euphoria wise, as MDMA is, but the trippy aspects make it very interesting. It doesn't seem to have much of a comedown either, more an afterglow which lasts a few days.

I know nothing about Opiates though, as I have no real interest in them (prefer stimulants/psychedelics, plus the addiction aspects of Opiates scare me off).
 
as far as longest lasting goes...I'm going to have to side with cappy smakky on the oxymorphazone, simply from reading the description of it lol...20 hour analgesia...god-fucking-damn...taking a high enough dose to be out of pain and for that long would be euphoric in my opinion lmfao...

You say that the addiction aspect of opiates scare you away, yet stimulants are FAR more fiendish than opioids IME...hell...cigarettes are far more fiendish of an addiction than my opioid dependence has been...granted...that could be because I'm not addicted to opioids...and I've done them for a year solid now-which could all be because I take them for pain (I don't really get a high)...but I wake up in a mildly sick manner...but for some reason I still grab my cigarettes and step out the door before I do ANYTHING else lol...

The reason I say this is because I used to do meth...and if I got a sack...it was a rarity that I didn't smoke it ALL up when I got it...Ya, it would last me quite a few hours...but I was constantly smoking it...and then not knowing what to do with myself when the sack was empty besides smoke cigarettes, or weed...there were times I would go through 2.5-3 packs of smokes in a day...it was bad...

Like I said...stimulants have a VERY fiendish addiction...
 
Weed or opiates . Technically they have the longest lasting euphoria .

While stuff like mdma, acid , meth ,etc produce more short term euphoria , long term they actually cause dysphoria unlike cannabis and opiates which have been my best euphoriating pals for the last 5years haha .

MXE, lasts for ages and gives me amazing euphoria (if the trip goes well) and when it wears off and im left with a long beautiful afterglow. the afterglow can last for weeks.
 
As far as opioids go, methadone lasts quite a while as does the euphoria. Be warned this is one of the more "dangerous" opioids. Buprenorphine's effects last a while. Poppy pod tea's effects last quite a while. The methamphetamine high lasts pretty long compared to other amphetamines, and is often considered a "cleaner" high than other amps.
 
LSD because I just love tripping but for something more for everyone I'd say Poppy-Seed/Pod Tea for sure. Longest lasting opiate high I've ever experienced. It's usually a good 12 hours or more. Can make you feel very groggy when waking up if you take it too late though.
 
The DOx series can last well into 48 hours or longer on a single dose, if you count tripping as euphoria. Which it usually is, haha.
 
that oxymorphazone looks absolutley-FUCKING-mental.
i couldnt even begin to imagine 1. how good that stuff is 2. how bad that stuff must be because of its goodness and 3.how hard it must be to get.

seriously WTF 48 hours of opiate. waking up high is sureley the best thing ever.

and the most euphoric drug ive done would be MDMA but BZP gave me one of the most euphoric highs ive ever expericenced once, i have no idea why, it was only the once but it was pretty mind blowing. calling an opiate euphoric IMO just seems odd, although a morphine high can be one of the most pleasent drug experences you can have, calling it euphoric just doesnt fit, i find euphoria more of an in your face expression, opiates seem to be fairly subtle.

You find Methadone euphoric? Used it occasionally when I didn't have enough to score H but while it gave a good long-lasting gouch, there was absolutely nothing euphoric about it? Seemed to have no effect on mood whatsoever for me, being all pure sedation.

Agreed. Can get a good 24hrs+ out of 60-80mg, and the euphoria is as close as I've come to old-school E as I've got in a long, long while. Feels more natural too, less pushy, with the added psychedelic edge to add interest as you say. Can be beautifully serene and very Zen late into the backside of it.
 
I would go with a psychedelic. Shrooms and acid have effects that lead to hours and hours of euphoria with little comedown. Pluss the after effects are terrific.

I believe psychedelics provide the "cleanest" and most natural state of euphoria.

Apart from that i agree with coltdan on the mxe. A dissociative ( i have experience with mxe and dxm) and weed can bring out euphoria for hours as well as psychedelics...and as stated by coltdan the after effects arnt bad either.
