I started going to drop bass parties in 1995. 95% of the public didnt even know what a rave was back then, As with anything in life the moar the people start to know the moar it starts to change. Back then it was map points ,byob or, byod not lisenced in any way held typically in a field or crap building etc. Moar freedom but not a guarentee that it would happen. Now its legal, in nice buildings not looked down on as it used to be and its big busniess. So basically thats the only difference between what was a rave and a edm event now. the ideals, the people that go to it to get down and everything else is still the same. Except the drugs... E was def better back then lol . no pips no research this or that. Sorry if i sound old lol... just telling it like it is from someone who has seen it change from what it was to what it is now...

Im sure the smaller raves are great, but 10,000 people inside a warehouse fucked up on "ecstasy" and listening to wub step deff aint something I want to be a part of. Not even a rave IMO...
