I am kicking heroin. I am on day 5 and took subs only the last two days. Stopped today and felt fine. I was stoked to be done kicking. I met a friend who just got out of rehab an was givin Talwin NX. He told me it would be okay to take so I took two 50mg. Later I found out it is a opiod with naltrexone in it. Because I took it after kicking heroin will it put me back into withdrawals? As if I used heroin? I'm worried cuz I was in the clear and now I feel like I will go back into withdrawals tomorow. Any help?

According to Wikipedia Talwin Nx contains Naloxone, not Naltrexone.

In that case it works similar to Suboxone - the Naloxone will be inactive if you take it orally, but should immediately give you precipitated withdrawal symptoms if you inject it... in fact, it would probably be even worse than Suboxone for injecting, since Naloxone can't effectively displace buprenorphine, but it should easily be able to displace Pentazocine (the active opioid in Talwin).

Not sure how much of a rebound you're going to feel when it has worn off though.
